ACCESS TO THE TUB WEIGHT IN AEG LAVAMAT L52600
More likely to be the shock absorbers, the main bearing or the spider (the casting the drum is fitted to that connects to the rear pulley)
To test the shock absorbers open the door and press firmly on the base of the drum then release
If the drum bounces up and down like a weight on an elastic chances are the shock need replacing
To check the spider firmly grasp the drum left and right and try to wobble it
then turn the drum 1/4 turn and do it again.
If there is a noticeable movement in one of those two position the spider is broken
To check the bearing remove the back cover and look for rust stains on the back of the drum. if there is then it will be your bearings
Shocks are a cheap repair, however if the spider or the bearing have failed it my be cheaper to replace the washer
Timer programme
Drain pump may be obstructed or defective. You may have to call your engineer back. Maybe he disrupted something.
