What you need to do is check the filter in the bottom right hand corner. You need to clear this and in the back were the filter goes you will see the pump impeller X shape. Make sure theres nothing jammed up in there stopping it from turning

This is what happens during wrinkle guard. During the end of the cycle a dryer will go into wrinkle guard to protect clothes from being wrinkled. Either the timer is stuck in this position or it is set in this position. Wrinkle guard can be called different names depending on manufacture.

No, the door interlock is an important safety feature, after a young boy had his arm removed by a spinning washing machine. You have to fix it, not bypass it. My guess is that is is badly adjusted and the lock is not fully closing to trigger the microswitch. You can just join the wires together, but that might cause further problems. All these machines are electronic and the have 'what is happening? What do I do now?' logic. you can try it, but not if you have kids please. There are videos here. When you put it to drain/spin does the pump make any attempt to drain,if not it could be that there is something stuck in the pump,needs draining manually.Another thing to try is to find the fault code.If you hold down the 2 buttons on the far right of panel then press on/off button till lights start chasing,then release the 2 buttons on right hand side.Now the first function button by the on/off button you will need to press until the light above the button reaches the 9th or 10th position this will give you a read out in the display.
E10 = low water press.
E20 = pump or filter.
E30 = press. switch or heater faults.
E40 = Door swich.
E50 = motor.
Some of these numbers can vary there are more but those are the most common.After checking codes switch off machine then back on twice to reset.

To turn the child lock off on this all you need to do is press and hold the temperture button and the spin button together for about 5 seconds and it will turn the child lock off from there.

The fill valve could be defective.

The start button (switch) or cycle timer could be defective.

Before it will start the brain needs to know the door is closed and locked. The door catch is connected to the brain - perhaps they are no longer communicating...

Is this the first time it's happened? Normally, a washing machine door won't open if a) not enough time has passed since the end of the cycle to the door unlocking itself, in which case you'd wait till for the unlocking click. You could also just switch the machine off, then switch off the power to it, then wait for 30 seconds before switching on again. OR b) the level of water inside the drum is too high. Have you checked that it has drained properly? Or if there is any blockage in the filter (usually behind a square panel bottom front of the machine), which may need cleaning out. Or a blockage in the drainage hose (at the back and connected to your water to drain pipe). Also, on some models, where you'd access the filter (and clear the fluff out from), there is often an emergency door opening lever beside it which you have to put down. But this should be a last resort. If you do have to use it, you have to reset the machine after by switching off power, waiting for 30 seconds then switch power back on again.
