Could be that the drive pulley behind the drum has loosened on the shaft. You do not say that you can hear the motor, but the drum moves slightly. Some machines have a shear pin which fails to prevent damage to the drum and motor. If you machine has one of these, it will be obvious when you get the back off. The lack of load on the motor could do strange things to the programmer. Good luck.

It could be a faulty thermistor (showing high temperature) or water sensor fault that is causing the pump to run. Just try and unplug it for 3-4 hours, and see if it resets itself, if not replace sensors, and if that does not work, replace the main board. You're going to need to open the washer and retrieve that lock, Malin. You should also get a replacement for it and install it so the washer will lock properly again. Last, tell your sister not to be so brutal with equipment - that never helps anything.

Not sure if you mean when it is fully off or operating, but if you mean that once it is operating the door won't open, then the following applies... Once a front loader wash cycle starts, the door on a front loader is physically (electronically) locked until the full cycle ends after spin dry. This is to prevent anyone opening the door and letting all the water out in the middle of the wash cycle, which a lot of people try to do to put in more clothing etc.

Go back into the machine and check for a disconnected wire cause by cleaning out the filter. Oh and did you remember to turn the water faucet back to the on position? It helps to plug the machine in to the A/C outlet, too. Keep an eye attuned to a safety switch on the access panel as well. It may have an alignment or broken plastic fastening/ mounting design.

Sounds like you've got something stuck in between the drum and tub the best way to check is through the heater at the rear of the machine. Could also be the motor or drum bearings have seized if its the drum bearings there's usually brown oil coming from the back of the drum. Take the belt off to see if either the drum or motor can be turned manualy. hope this helps.
