Depending on the age of the machine it's usually more cost effective to simply buy a new one.

Most times unplugging a washer for 5 min or so will reset to factory. Some units just a quick unplug works too. But I'm not totally familiar with yours. If it's going to be hard to unplug just turn off the breaker to it. Hope this helps

Hello! Most probably the carbon brushes from the motor are worn out.

Could be that the drive pulley behind the drum has loosened on the shaft. You do not say that you can hear the motor, but the drum moves slightly. Some machines have a shear pin which fails to prevent damage to the drum and motor. If you machine has one of these, it will be obvious when you get the back off. The lack of load on the motor could do strange things to the programmer. Good luck.
