PF = Power Failure. Sounds like you have a bad electrical connection. With your breaker off, check that the connections from the cord to the range are all good and tight. Next, check the receptacle where the cord plugs in. Remove the cover and check the connections there as well. Examine the power cord also. There could even be a poor connection at the breaker box (at the circuit breaker or the neutral buss bar) but not as likely, as your problem appeared when you moved your range.

biggest issue with any gas oven is a faulty ignitor, not maintaining oven temp, too long to preheat, taking too long to cook, possible slight gas smell during operation, all signs of a bad ( or going bad) ignitor

SOURCE: KENMORE GAS STOVE OVEN LOWER BURNER WON'T WORK

Most likely a hot-surface ignitor has failed. If it doesn't consume enough current, the gas valve won't open. It's usually a fairly easy fix, once you gain access to the ignitor and have a new one to replace it with. Make sure you unplug the range...

Hi, It sounds like the ignitor has gone bad. Remove the floor panel in the oven and locate the ignitor fastened to the burner. There should be 120V going to the ignitor harness.
If you have voltage but no ignition, change the ignitor.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Stove oven temperature not accurate

This unit has a calibration function which can compensate for temperature errors of +/-30 deg F. Hold the BAKE button for 4 seconds to enter this mode. Use the Temp UP/DN buttons to adjust the temperature offset. Push START to enter the new offset.

Also, the typical manual oven thermometers are notoriously inaccurate.

If this doesn't solve your problem, next items may be the temperature sensor or control board. If it is the control board we may be able to repair it for you at www.fixyourboard.com.

Does model XFG371LVQ Whirlpool stove have air adjustment for top burners?

Remove the front panel to find where the gas injectors enter the burner tubes you will see they are cut away and have a screw holding an outer ring which is adjustable, open them up more to get more air in .

LP gas stove top . burners want turn down to low. Only medium and high flame work on burners.

Has this just recently happened? Check the knobs aren't cracked sometimes the brass spindle inside the knob is not gripping to turn it right down, also check your l p gas pressure it should be 2.75 kpa.
if the flames are big and yellow it's getting too much gas, not enough air.

GE electric stove problems, our stove has 3 small burners and one big burner. When we use the big burner at medium heat it does fine then all of a sudden it starts glowing bright red and burns whatever is...

Replace the infinite heat control switch for that burner. (the burner switch that you turn with the knob to select the temp setting) If you list a full model number (usually behind the lower drawer panel on the frame of the range) I can look up the part number for you. It is not a very difficult repair.

Hello fairglen,
welcome,

You said, model WHIRLPOOL WEP54800 Stove starts to beep at different times of the day. After four beeps F2 shows up and continues to beep when it feels it should. The control board has been checked twice and A new oven sensor installed. EVERY thing works perfect. This all started after water was brought to A boil on the back burner

But something is wrong!!??
Check your model number.
It is not showing up anywhere in the repair manuals or error codes.
Not even Canada.
What country did you buy it in?
How old is this range?

These are the only F2 codes I found in whirlpool so far!

F2 - Oven temperature sensor shorted = Replace oven temperature sensor

F2-Oven temperature above specifications = 8-pin connector oven temperature sensor to the Electronic Range Control (ERC)

Waiting your response or correction!!!!!!!!!!!
