I have a model 442 Oxterizer and the shaft that turns the blades has totally come off of the base. Is it a possibility in getting it fixed? The motor appears to be working fine.

The blades may not be turning because the blade assembly is not fully tightened onto the blender bottle. Another reason could be that you are not putting the blender bottle and blade assembly into the blender base in the proper way. My Ninja Chef CT800 auto IQ Kitchen blender blade assembly is not turning freely. Does anyone know 1. How to fix it 2. If it involves removing the blade assembly, how to remove the blades Thank you!

The shaft has probably become tight in the bearings and the assembly will need to be dismantled for cleaning and possibly lubrication - I am unfamiliar with the Ninja but the average blender is a fairly basic mechanism and not many fasteners have to be removed before the parts needing attention either fall off or can be removed. It is a fairly intuitive process for the handy person. You could perhaps start with the nut on the blade - there seems enough exposed thread to judge whether it is left or right hand thread and it shouldn't be particularly tight. Lots of cloth should be used when holding the blade...

Our blender freezes on code EE what does this mean

Thankfully, I've chosen a blender with which I haven't had any problems yet. I read many reviews and ultimately decided to pick one from Cuisinart. I think it's one of the best hand blenders you can find.

I have a Breville 800BLXL/B blender that won't power on. When plugged in, the power button will not illuminate.

Its speed regulator electronic circuit inside is faulty. There is a control circuit to determine the time and speed of the blender. It will contain a pre-programmed IC. This board is nor a repairable one. It should be replaced as card basis. Its one touch pulse only energises. No other speed regulation section does not works, and the IC related to this is faulty. Normaly pre-programmed; otherwise known as {PIC} ICs are programmed by the manufacturing company, and will be difficult to get from outside electronic spare-part market. So you have to contact the Breville service center to get this device repaired.

Cooks Blender Thermal Fuse Where is it on the motor?

The thermal fuse must be in intimate contact with the motor so when the motor temperature climbs dangerously high the fuse temperature doesn't lag far behind. I have seen the thermal fuse buried in the windings of a transformer so it isn't beyond the realms of possibility it could be inside the motor. The thermal fuse body is metal and live and so must be insulated and so is generally found in the supply wire inside some heat resistant sleeving strapped firmly to the motor...

Why won't my ninja blender turn on? The red light is blinking, but power is connected and lid is secure.

try rotating the container part 1/4 of a turn to line up slots and press down . then if it does not blend turn another 1/4 turn to line up slots and press down pushing container into base motor unit . container and screw on blade lid is put in upside down and the plastic posts have to match the base unit to turn on the blender when you press down on container into base unit. I own and use a ninja blender !.

My ninja single serve won't start I put the container on it won't do anything

If the light on the power button is blinking, the single serve cup isn't fully engaged. Insert and twist clockwise to lock into position. When using the single serve cup, the only blender button that will work is the pulse button.

Single serve ninja cup stuck in base

IF YOU ARE ALREADY STUCK: Find the tiny detention/release "button" in the grove at the back near the top of the base unit. Use a butter knife or the back of a sharp one to slide the button DOWN toward the counter (not in toward the blender blades). TO PREVENT THE PROBLEM: Look at the 4 locking tabs on the single serve cup. They are rectangular with the lower right corner HEAVILY beveled (when viewed broadside). The solution to the problem is to LIGHTLY bevel the upper left corner too. I used a pocket knife to shave just a little bit off at 45 degrees. Proceed carefully one tab at a time testing it in the rear slot. Shave just enough to get an easy release. Shave all 4 tabs on the cup so it doesn't matter which one is inserted in the rear groove.

Blender blade assembly no longer turns

I had this problem and, after seeing these posts, was motivated to avoid paying the cost of a new blade unit. Here's how it can be fixed:1. Take a kitchen hotpad and hold the blade (top) side of the unit in your hand as you unscrew the rubber gear on the base. This is a left-handed screw, so you must turn it clockwise, to free it up. This should be doable by hand. Be careful, removing the gear exposes a washer note which side is up, and place both the gear and washer aside.2. With the blades held in the hotpad, unscrew the top nut, again clockwise. This takes more effort, but it will eventually give way. As this nut comes off, it exposes a rectangular post, to which everything is attached.3. Remove a washer with a rectangular cutout. Make sure you remember which side is up (I think it makes no difference). This may require some rocking to remove the washer from the round-threaded end. It will come off.4. Remove both blades in a similar manner. Note their orientation, which is important.5. Next, remove a rubber gasket. On mine, it has a groove which is asymmetric. I don't think the orientation is important, but, again, you may want to note it.6. What is left is an axle inside a sleeve. There are no bearings. In mine, I had to tap/drive this out. Take a flat-ended rod (ideas: I used the hex-shaped post end of a nut socket. An old drill bit you don't care about, rotated would also work). Place the unit on the edge of the counter, up-side pointing up, in a way so the bottom end of the axle could fall free when you drive it out. Gently tap the axle through the unit, using the helper tool when the axle is within the sleeve. It will drive completely out.7. Clean everything. I simply scrubbed the axle and took a small brush to the inside of the sleeve. This doen't need to be perfect, but anything left on either surface may ultimately impair the functioning of the axle.8. Lubricate the axle with household oil or a dab of grease. You will find that the axle will now slide into the sleeve fairly easily (I had the best luck from the top.)9. Reattach the base gear, then the top in the obvious order. Everything should spin freely from this point on.REMEMBER: always use the hotpad whenever you grip the blades and to tighten the bolt on top so that the axle protrudes slightly above the nut.Good luck!
