How to remove the cutters

The cutters are part of the collar itself and not available as a separate part. If there is anything wrong with them you need to replace the whole collar. The collars are available on Amazon UK, K A Parts as well as other places.

How do I remove the coupler from a Kitchenaid

I just worked on mine tonight. you have to take the bottom off by removing the four rubber feet and then the four screws under them. Now here's the tricky part; you'll need something to hold the jar coupler (round thing spins the blade). I was able to use a large pair of vice grips with some electrical tape wrapped around the jaws, to keep from damaging the coupler. Then take a slot edge screw driver and back out shaft from the coupler. FYI, the threads are reverse, so you will actually be turning the screwdriver clockwise to remove the coupler.

I bought a new interlocking collar for my Kitchenaid blender, and now it doesn't seem to be fitting on the base properly. It's resting on the base rather than going all the way down, if that makes sen

Remove the collar from the jug and have a good look inside, there is a circular ring inside the collar that needs to engage correctly with a glass finger on the jug. The glass finger goes between 2 plastic fingers. I think there are two of them. It was a silly idea that's been given the flick on later models.

How to lubricate blade assembly.

You need to lock the blades from turning and undo the bottom clutch drive in such a way as you do not damage it. I use an old motor clutch drive to undo them myself. It has a left hand thread and a block of wood to hold the blade. Then you can remove the blade with shaft from the brass bush to clean and lubricate it. If the brass bush has moved up in the plastic housing you need to press/bang it down again. Then reassemble. If you wreck the clutch drive on the blade you will need to buy a new blade assy if it is separate to the beaker, if not you will need a beaker and blade unit complete.

Kitchen Aid blender KSB560 capacitor exploded

Someday people will learn that MANY of the stepdown convertors are useful ONLY for hairdriers and devices WITHOUT electronics. ONLY use convertors with a big transformer in them for electronic devices. Yes, they are expensive, but so are repairs. Now on to your problem:

The device was probably an MOV varistor transient suppressor.

Trace the circuit out and if it is across the input lines, try one of the same MOV's you find in the surge plug strips.

If the device blew apaart, there is likely further damage. You may be able to get a whole board from an appliance repair company.

Do testing of the unit with a 150 wat lamp in series with the power line.

My blender motor doesn't work. I don't know what happened. Just tried it one day and it didn't work. Any suggestions?

Remove the bottom cover (unplug the power first) and check the motor for continuity. If it is open circuit check the thermal fuse which will be taped over against one of the field windings close to a brush holder. You can either replace or bypass the fuse if that is the case. Kitchen Aid will only be recommending full motor replacement but it most often it's not really necessary.

Kitchenaid 5KSB560 button stuck in

Easiest solution is replace the control panel and be more careful in the future. You can mess about and try and repair it but it is a fiddle with no guarantee of success.

The control went crazy

Motor is probably open circuit, that is the main cause of the flashing lights. New motor OR replace the thermal fuse on one of the field windings if you are up to the task.

The motor base is not working. It was working fine for about a year, then just wouldn't work one day. Any suggestions on what I could do?

Check for power to the pcb, check for continuity through the motor. Once you have done that you will have an idea of where the fault lies.

Ksb50b3 doesn't turn on hums

Does the blade turn by hand? Does the motor turn by hand? The answers to both those questions may point you in the right direction. If both turn freely I would suspect you need a new motor.
