Hi Dan. Perhaps the laser lens is dirty. Get a cleaning disk from Poundland. Should sort it out

SOURCE: lg dvd recorder

No, this is a fault with the unit, 99% of the time caused by the power supply, but I've seen it be caused by the MPEG pcb

Lg keybo 2 cannot one step voice dial Ie: call bob home... i can only go call wait for her to ask name or number then continue... otherwise it goes to the first name on the contacts list. i have adjusted...

Has the same issue and every tried every kind of reset possible with no luck.

THE FIX:

After you press the voice command key you will hear the system state: "please state the command or number to dial" (or something close to this) and then a beep.

YOU MUST WAIT FOR THE BEEP BEFORE STATING THE NAME!

This has been a huge headache for me and LG has not been a great help. On my other LG phones I would say:

"Call so and so" without a pause or waiting for a beep in continuous voice string.

You must wait for the beep on the Keybo 2 and apparently no one at LG knows this?!

Hope this help someone else.

DEAR SIR my LG rh-2252 dvd recorder has problem.it turn on,but just show in display box:hello and a few minute later :please wait please wait please waite. but it does nt work.no voice,no picture

some dvd recorders take a while to come on if you turn it on with no disc in and wait for it to load up also check that the cables are all in correctly and you are on the correct channel it should show a start up screen also try changing the channel through the dvd recorder if this does not work and you have read through the manual contact the manufacturer or supplier

Just comes up with "Please wait" it wont load!

Hi there,

I had a RH 178 with the same problem. I opened case and removed the plate with the 2 drive cables and the front lcd cable. Simply wait a few mins and plug it back in, connect the 3 cables and use the 4 srews and VOILA it runs!!

No more "please Wait"

I think it was a connection problem with the "uplink" to mainboard (not the three drive cables and LCD). Can someone please report if it works with his LG?

LG DR-4810 DVD Displays " PLEASE WAIT"

to open the tray during "please wait", remove casing then loosen front panel (clips either side and underneath). Power up to get "please wait", then press small microswitch in bottom right corner of the DVD player unit. Have you tried resetting the unit (turning on and holding the power button for at least 5-10 seconds)? Have you tried unplugging the unit for a longer period of time (24 hours)? get your firmware upgrade through here(sorry its in german, you might be able to get an english of it through the LG site) - http://www.lgupdate.de.ms/ two cd's- bootloader.iso , update.iso Good luck
