Sir/Mam,
Turn off the main power switch, ensure the sub power switch is on. The sub power switch is located on the right side of the control panel. Then holding down the Utility/Counter button turn the main power switch on. Close the front door you must keep the Utility button down. The screen will show TROUBLE RESET touch it sees a "OK" then power off the machine. YOU MUST WAIT TEN SECONDS BEFORE POWERING UP AGAIN!!!!!! If the problem goes away OK. If the code comes back, you need a Fusing unit or a High Current Device for the fusing unit. Which will be expensive!!! Sorry :( DO NOT KEEP TRYING TO RESET THE MACHINE! THE MACHINE IS TELLING YOU THERE IS A PROBLEM!!!!! A Fire could occur and that would ruin a perfectly good day!!!!

The power supply that controls the fuser (The Hot part) unit is causing that code.


1. Turn OFF the main power switch.
2. Turn main power switch ON while pressing the Utility/Counter key.
3. Touch [Trouble Reset].
4. Check to make sure that [OK] is displayed and the it has been reset.
5. After turning off the main power switch, turn it on again more than 10 seconds after
and check if the machine starts correctly.


DO THIS ONCE IF IT COMES BACK REPLACE THE FUSER POWER SUPPLY OR A FIRE CAN START THAT WILL RUIN A PERFECTLY GOOD DAY!

Replace the IH Power supply, it will solve your problem... Page 71 Item 5 from the parts manual.

This going to get expensive, could be any of the following the IH coil unit or IH Power supply unit. This series of machine uses a magnetic field to produce heat for the fusing process the process of fusing the toner to the paper, any way the code you have is stating the IH pwr sup or coil unit are not talking to the copier cpu. It could also be a relay board between the cpu fuser system, worse case the image control board. I would go with fuser power supply. Just my humble opinion.

The Fuser Magnetic High Current Assy. is bad not the fuser but the section it plugs into. located below the control panel behind a cover.
have a tech come out. Try this one time if the code comes back do above do above if do it again the fuser can catch on fire that will ruin a perfectly good day

3B02,3B03,3B04 - IH malfunction.Try reset the error code:
Turn OFF the copier,press and keep pressing the Function key and turn ON the copier.Keep pressed the Function key until appaire the Trouble reset message on the display.Release the Function key ,touch the message and turn OFF the copier.Wait 1 minutes and turn ON.

chek your register conector
open the front door and clean conector
