I suppose they can be replaced. You should contact the TI Consumer Support Department at [email protected]. They will be able to tell you where in your area of residence you can have the calculators serviced and how much It will cost you.

I have heard about a Casio program that gives credit towards the purchase of Casio calculators in exchange of TI calculators. Here is the link to the trade-in program.
I believe it is worth investigating this. You may end up replacing the calculators at a lower price. Casio calculators are very good and less expensive than the TI. You will be surprised to hear that Casio is the inventor of the LCD screen.

Cracked screen

Chances are it is too far gone. You could send it to TI for repair but that will cost almost as much as buying a new one.

Sorry :(

Ti85

kinda. The TI-85 programs differently, lacks a table feature, is not upgradable, has redefinable keys, has a larger screen, is smaller, energy efficient, TI-86 semi-compatible, and is older.
The TI-84+ has archive memory, flash-upgradable, FSTN (clearer) screen, 16*8 screen, USB On-The-Go compliant, almost a centimeter longer, assembly language support, and a tad bit faster.

TI-82: $89
TI-83 Plus: $79-99
Free TI-85: $0
TI-84 plus: $119.99
TI-84+SE: $129-139
TI-89 Titanium: $149
