    CANT PLAY REGION 1 DVD

    We followed the instructions but still the dvd didnt unlock, step 1 no disc appears click in the code but nothing happened after that, so we cant complete the unlock so can you please help with this situation. Thankyou.

Just Follow these steps:
1. Turn on dvd player
2. Then it comes up NO DISC
3. Enter No 314159 using remote
4. Code displays on screen, press 0 and then pause
then turn off thats it.

How do i unlock my LG BH7520 blue ray dvd player to play multi region or region 2 thank you
With your set on and without disc in the tray:

1. Press PLAY from your remote control
2. Press the following button sequence: 1590 2379 390
3. Press PLAY again

This will release the region verification in your player(region free). However, some DVDs (multi region in particular) will not play, since they require region detection from the player unit.

Code to unlock LG DV390H DVD player
I have an LG DV390H also and the answer provided by jaffa012001 works!

So do this guys:
-switch dvd on
-open tray
-on your remote control press 000 (number zero three times)
-the region menu appears on screen
-go to where it says region and press 0 (zero once) then pause
-switch off

it works! thank you jaffa012001..youre a champ!

LG DVD player LG276
I picked up a LG DV276 DVD Player here in Australia but I am from the United States so I own region 1 DVDs. I unlocked my new player by instead 1. Open the tray. 2. Press 0 0 0 0 on the remote and a Menu will appear. 3. Press 0 for region free. 4. Press pause and power off.

I can play everything now, Aussie and US DVDs. Thanks LJ66.
