So, it is obviously NOT 1, 2, or 3 above. It IS getting power.
The first thing I'd try is a re-boot, try unplugging the unit and waiting about
...waiting about a minute then plug it back in & try again.

2. Power cable of the player
3. Power supply unit of the player.
First, try plugging the device in a different wall socket. Avoid using power strip.
Second, check the power cable of the player and replace it if possible. The power cable could be loose and not getting a good contact.
Third, you need to contact a local repair tech to check the power supply unit and board inside the player.
Repairing the power supply unit should not cost too much.
