Can not get it to start up after putting in all five new batteries. screen is full of wierdness but will turn on/off.

THERE ARE 2 TEMP SENSORS ONE IS FOR THE LIGHT OR GAUGE AND THE OTHER IS FOR THE ECM. IF THE ONE FOR THE ECM IS FAULTY IT CAN CAUSE HARD COLD STARTS

replace the battery for starters
check that the charger is putting out the correct voltage

The relearn procedure for GM is turn the key on (don't try to start) leave it on for ten minutes, turn it off for five seconds. do this three times, after the third time of turning it off for five seconds try to start it. It is best to have it on a charger as the battery will drain, if it gets down below five volts you have to start over.

Check your battery cables. Mostly for a loose or dirty connection. Also check cables for corrosion.

A friend of mine had the same prob after putting in brand new batteries, it was i bit wierd but i tried some different batteries and it started working , try some new batteries. hope this helps.

it sounds as if you might have to replace the battery, if your battery is shot you can still get a boost and the car will run because the alternator produces electricity which should take car of the cars functions and top up the charge on the battery. if the battery is no longer taking the charge or not holding it as soon as you shut it off it will not have enough power to start the starter. A lot of automotive place will do a check on your battery if you take it to them.

i have also experienced same kind of problem with nokia set which is other model. i have also done same what you have done. Change or replace your mobile battery. so it 'll finally solves your problem.

Something is most likely wrong with a connection to the top screen. It's going to need to be diagnosed and repaired. Don't waste your time buying a new battery or ac adapter which is a trial solution that alot of people seem to hope will work.

all i did was keep working with it, like changing the batteries like taking them out and putting them back in....
