SOURCE: Has anyone figured out IF such a digital anntenna exist yet?

You don't need a digital antenna; any indoor UHF/VHF antenna will work. The antenna and the TV both connect to the converter box, not to each other.

A standard rabbit ears (UHF/VHF) antenna with flat wire (300 ohm) connections can be hooked up to the coaxial cable that goes to the Antenna (RF in) jack on the converter box by using a balun (Radio Shack catalog # 15-1297, about $8). If you have an antenna with coaxial cable already attached, you don't need the balun.

To connect the TV to the converter box, you need an adapter that has an F jack on one end and a 1/8" plug on the other (Radio Shack catalog # 278-257, about $5). The 1/8" plug on the adapter goes in the external antenna jack on the TV, and the other end connects to the coaxial cable that goes to the TV (RF out) jack on the converter box.

Is my tv hdtv ready

Looking online, this appears to be a monitor rather than a TV. You will need to connect it to an HDTV tuner as well as the anntenna to get over the air reception.

I have a Polaroid TLA-01911C. I switched from cable to air and did a scan, but no channels are found. I even hooked up an antenna with no channels found. Any suggestions?

Ether the antenna is not good enough for the digital signals that are now brodacasted or you got a bad digtal tuner in this unit. i would buy a antenna from radioshack special for this TV.

Will a close hanger work as an antenna on my uniden bc144xl scanner?

nope! buy a good anntenna that'll hook to the connection...you shouldn't need a big rooftop unit.. a simple antenna like on a portable should work fine.

1999 corvette c

Very easily, take off the passenger side tailight (outter) two screws/torque bit. Once you have done that reach in on the inner quater panel you should be able feel the antenna....... (To remove anntenna). From the outside of the anntenna on top where the actual anntenna comes out there is a ring silver or balck. You should be able to twist (unscrew) that ring to loosen the antenna and two more on the in side of quater panel. The anntenna should drop from the inside of the quater panel. Hope this helps!!

Digtal

All sets are Digtal Ready they are telling you that if the only way you receive a signal is by antenna then tv will not work without a converter box, as long as you receive cable or satellite then your good to go!
