SOURCE: Washing machine does not drain

does the water pour out when you put the drain hose close to the ground if it does then make sure your pump isnt blocked if it isnt then youll need to replace the pump most pumps have 3 little fins in them if you can stop those fins with a screw driver when pump is going then it deffinatley needs replacing as you cannot fix them sorry for the bad news m8

SOURCE: water drains during spin cycle, but tub does not spin and appears to have dropped down. Machine does aggitate.

If you can move the tub by hand laterally - the rear main bearing has likely failed - or the drum rollers are worn.

SOURCE: washing machine not spinning or draining water

its your drain pump if you can hear it humming but no water is draining it is blocked or jammed by a foriegn object (most probably a 20 cent coin or bobby pin/s), if you can hear it working as normal but still no water it may have a blockage sumwhere along the drain pipe either that or the impellor has snapped off the shaft and is ratteling around and not actually turning, and with the spin that is directly related to yor drain pump issue as the washer will not even attempt to spin if water remains in the tub, incredibly easy to do hit me back if you want detailed instructions

Fws445rf1 washer didnt stop filling and flooded my apt and it doesnt aggitate when it is washing,the whole thing just spins inside instead of moving back and forth,what are the most likely reasons for...

if it's a top-loader, then the water level sensor is probably failed! if an older machine- there's a plastic tube (which you can't see from the outside) that measures the column of water in the tub of your machine, and triggers the agitate and spin, and rinse cycles of your machine.
when it's in wash cycle the water level is lower, then it spins and drains and the rinse cycle pumps in more water (makes sense!), then drains & spins, then re-rinses at the same water level. your water level sensor is defective, probably. allowing it to over-fill.
it detects the water level as 'spin' and doesn't agitate!
my theory- no guaranty! if it's old get a new washer or a good used one! this is not a problem i've encountered, just a guess. good luck!

I have a whirlpool washer model#LSQ8520JQ0. everything works perfect except the spin function. it fills up and drains and also aggitates but it just does not spin??? it is not the lid switch we tested that...

More than likely it is the clutch or transmisson. Since it drains and agitates we can rule out the motor, pump and coupler as well as the lid switch. The only things left (since the timer is activating the motor and causing it to drain) are the clutch and transmission. My guess is your clutch is wore out, in either case, it should go to a qualified repairman.

My Kenmore model 80 washer won't aggitate but spins and drains without issue. The aggitator tries to move but acts like there is a gear stripped or something.

you will need to purchase an agitator replacement kit for your washer and, the clutch will need to be replaced as well. these components are damaged and, replacing them will restore your units agitation functions.

Washer fills and drains but won't aggitate or spin

Since the washer is less than an year old it must be under a warranty.Try contacting the customer care and get it replaced.

Generally for such a problem,the following checks need to be done.
* Test the lid switch
* Test the timer control
* Test the centrifugal switch
* Test the water level switch
* Inspect the motor coupler
* Inspect the drive belt (belt drive only)
* Inspect under the washer for soot (clutch)
* Test the motor
* Inspect the pulley
* Test the transmission

In your case I would advice to get your machine replaced with a new one.Good luck,Please do rate the solution if accepted.
