sir does the screen display M -2 code ? I assume you are talking about the WASTE Toner Container??? Then go service mode and clear the counter and reset to 240k . Under Consumables

Open the toner bottle door,rotate the bottle mannualy 90 degr.and turn the copier ON.If the bottle rotated verify the toner level in the developing unit.If not rotate check the bottle motor and sensor.

means that the toner cartridge you are trying to rotate to is already
in the top position or you need to install another toner cartridge
before you can rotate to the color you want to replace.
To fix
the toner not installed message clean the three contacts on green chip
on the right side of the toner cartridge. You may see black lines on
them. Use an eraser or rubbing alcohol.

The printer uses a carousel to rotate the toner cartridges. Dust and toner can easily spill as the cartridges rotate. The error can appear at any time but seems to be most annoying after a paper jam or other error. It is also important to make sure that the cartridges themselves are clear of toner dust. Pay particulair attention to any copper contacts on the cartridge.
Actually you are supposed to replace the whole container.
You can order this as part of your service contract just like toner, the cost would be included.
If you are shaking it out, be aware it is VERY flamable in such a fine powdered state.
My Konica 2430DL does this every time I start the printer, I am quite sure it is supposed to do this as I it rotating the toner and calibrating itself. On one occasion I recently had the status monitor say to install cartridge... I removed it, shook it, reinstalled it with the same results. I just purchased a new Konica brand toner, replacing the old one and 'voila' sucess! It still does the little dance (rotation) every time, but it always has, but after installing the new toner the message went away. If you reinstalled the toners, this may be your problem - you need all new toners; spendy but it should solve your problem, otherwise; if you've already done this, I don't have an answer. Good Luck!
