Hello,
The typical reason is that happens most of the time is DUST and hair is the answer as it needs to be removed from the intake part of the fan case /filter /fan blades!
Good Luck!

My fridge gets really hot on top and between the fridge and freezer where the door meets

next time send the model number and brand name.usually when this happens is the condenser fan motor isn't working.pull the fridge out, remove the bottom back panel and check the fan to see if it's working,if it is check the condenser coil to see if it's filled with lint and dust,it could just need to be cleaned out but if it's that hot most likely the fan isn't running,if you get this tonight check it now,if the fan isn't running you could blow the compressor, the condenser fan blows and keeps the compressor cool enough so it doesn't overheat by moving the hot air and the heat also esscapes through the condenser coil so if that's clogged with dust the machine will run hotter than normal,if the fan isn't running you can stick any window fan back there and blow it onto the compressor to keep it cool until you fix the condenser fan motor, this way you won't loose any food and if the compressor goes it's new fridge time,to much to repair.hope this helps and good luck with your machine.one more thing,i've found the fans not running and by pushing the blade it runs again,if this happens the fan could run and never have a problem or it could stop an hour later but i would change it out no matter what.if it's a G.E. fridge and the motor isn't running, most likely it will be the computer board,i've found 10 machines doing this and the temp. settings turning on and off or the evap fan motor in the freezer runs slow and then fast and the condenser fan isn't running or running slowly, this is why you have to send the brand name and model number.

Refrigerator not cooling. doesn't seem like fan is blowing. freezer still working

all that happens is the cold air from the freezer gets blown into the fridge section by the evap fan motor brhind the inside back wall of the freezer so if you open the freezer door and don't hear the fan blowing i would say that yes you do have a bad evap fan motor and that's why the fridge section is warm.next time send the brand name and model number so i can help you better

I have an LG BD530 blu-ray player, and it worked great for about six months. Now, however, no matter whether we put a DVD or blu-ray disc into it, it doesn't recognize that there's a disc in there...

It sounds like the drive itself has died on you and needs replacement. I would check to see if you have any warranty. You may have a store or a LG warranty that would pay all the costs to replace the drive. If not that means you are paying the bill and a drive is worth about $100 from Amazon and other sources.

The dead drive is a common problem with these tv's so if you have the tv for a while it may not be the last one. As an alternative if you cannot change the drive yourself then I would consider just purchasing a standalone blueray player.

Fan blows.. no cold air... no hot air exhaust blowing

This sounds like you either need to clean or replace the filter, but if the filter is some what new you might want to take a look at the coils just past the filter, if the coils do not have a shine to them then you might want to buy some coil cleaner (i found simple green or formula 50 works great), then you will have to spray the coils with the cleaner, let sit about 10-15 min, then give it a very good rinse with warm water. After that it should work like it is brand new. Enjoy!
