If the line is always in the same spot, it's because of damage to the image drum. In this printer the drum and toner cartridge are in one unit, so replacing the cartridge will fix the problem. Sometimes paper jams (and iron on jams) can cause the paper (or iron on) to get stuck in areas that are not visible to you, usually on the sides of where the paper would go. I don't know the specifics of your particular printer, but I would take a look at the guides on the side of the paper path and there are usually several screws that you can remove or loosen so that you can verify that the paper path is clear. Hope this helps and good luck!
Hello,
Check the paper to see if you have too much in the paper tray or if any of the edges are frayed. I've also heard that it may be related to a issue on the roller that picks up the paper - I have that problem myself. I was told to check the roller and if it's dirty clean the roller with some rubbing alcohol.
Error button never go away after a paper jam
Sounds like you may still have a piece of paper in the printer. Open the toner door - take out the cartridge, reseat it and then close the door. If the error light stays on you probably have something stuck in the machine. You might need to power it off (unplug it) and then see if there's anything on the rollers.
Can't get it tro print
Do you have printer settings on a shared network. Did you allow print sharing? You should enable those. Is it set as default printer? Did you set up a at home network?
