The engine starts but it doesn't generate electricity
The engine turns over the generator. We often think of a generator as one thing, but actually it is made of two parts. A motor to to supply mechanical power and the generator (a devices with electrical coils and magnets) that if turned will create electrical energy.
Since the engine is turning over, either the engine shaft that spins the generator is broken or a connector coupling is broken, or more likely the the generator portion of your generator is broken inside. Internal wires could be burned up or contact brushes are worn out. It sounds like your generator side is defunct. For inexpensive home emergency generators, it is usually cheaper to buy another generator rather than try to repair the generator you have.

I overloaded my powermate generator, now it won't generate electricity
Hi!
You need to
change your AVR/Capacitor. (Depends on what is fitted to your generator. 2-4 wires = capacitor. 5+ wires = AVR) and you can purchase them here:
https://www.generatorguru.com/powermate/
and capacitors for other models here: https://www.generatorguru.com/capacitors/
FYI, it overloaded the Alternator Output.
Please be aware the total wattage is split between the 2 lowest voltage sockets (windings) i.e. for example a 4500 running watts generator would be 2250running watts per plug.
You also CANNOT use the 230/240v socket at the same time as any of the 110/115v/120v sockets, as this winding is used to make the higher voltage. This is the case on all generators!!
Hope this helps!

Garbage disposal is not working?
Rather than the breaker, they have a trip switch on the unit that trips when the unit strains.
Google
make model manual
'make model (what it is)' is needed in all questions and we can supply this information for you, at least I can try!
