Sym mio 50 is starting then cutting out for about ten minutes then when warm it runs fine I have replaced the carb this has not made any difference please help

There's ibe place you can start

Fuel tank breather could be blocked or the filter on the fuel tap.

You need to check its restrictions ie carb stop exhaust restriction etc, then you can go for a sport variator /roller kit, available on line.

With ignition key switched to on, apply both brakes twice within five seconds

Normal warranty is only 90 days. Better chcek on what yours actually is and what it covers. The problem is going to be either water in the carb float bowl or varnish build up in the carb from evaporating gas over the winter. The carb needs to be cleaned. Try just draining the carb float bowl using the drain screw on the lower part of the bowl. Most all bikes have a drain screw but if yours doesn't, just remove the bowl and clean the interior of the carb. Please rate my answer.

sounds like dirt in the carb. If left for a while the petrol will go off and clog up the jets in the carb. I suggest replacing the fuel and cleaning out the carb.

this sounds like the carb acclerator pump is not delivering enough fuel, replace it.

Is there a spark at the plug? if so its likely to be fuel related... is the plug getting wet? if so its likely to be air (or spark) related

If this happens in cold weather or after a fast run it's carb icing. SYM do a replacement carb bowl to solve this or you can use a fuel additive SILKOLENE Pro FST. I use the additive as it also keeps the fule system clean and lasts well.

sounds like faulty choke. if it is electronic choke, this may have failed.
