E1 - Freezer thermistor open circuit.
E2 - Freezer thermistor short circuit.
E3 - Fridge thermistor open circuit.
E4 - Fridge thermistor short circuit.
E7 - Evaporator thermistor open circuit.
E8 - Evaporator thermistor short circuit.
E9 - Temperature set switch open circuit
EA - No feedback from Baffle
EB - Fridge Baffle motor operating continuously
EE - Defrost time out

This was the only code listing with an EE error code - which is a Hotpoint - so if your's isn't a Hotpoint it is probably incorrect.

If you do have a Hotpoint Refrigerator then either the defrost timer is not functioning correctly or your heater element is malfunctioning.

I have an LG front load washing machine model number wm2496hsm with the code ee coming up on display what's wrong with it and how do I fix it

EE - Stands for EEPROM ERROR
EEPROM is out of order. Displayed only when the START/PAUSE button is first pressed in the QC Test Mode.
The machine's program is stored in the EEPROM area of the microcontroller unit, when it is out of order the machine stops functioning.

Panasonic CWXC203EU the unit is flashing error code EE and only when you unplug it shuts off the control do not work blows s a littlle cold air but after a shor time it shuts off

Hi.

EE means energy efficiency. hen EE is displayed there can be a defective thermistor or insufficient ventilation.

The following works on some A/C system: "When EE is displayed, press "energy save" and "zone control" simultaneously for about 5 secs"

Try also testing the system in auto mode, check ventilation and if possible test thermistor by reading impedance with a multimeter.

If when EE is displayed the unit also becomes non-responsive and does not turn off, then the problem may also be a defective controller board. Other parts, included the ones mentioned before, must be tested before replacing the control module.

Regards.

There is an EE code. The machine just beeps.

EE
Remove your washer from the power source if you see an "EE" error code, where the first E is missing the top part of the letter. Your washing machine has a serious malfunction, and you must contact a technician.

A bit odd that as error code EE does not exist for washing machines, it's a refrigeration error code. Unless of course part of the display (led) has been damaged and the code isn't displayed properly.

Hope helps.

EE button ("enter exponent" button) Retuns Wrong Value

Hello,
I dont think you got a lemon.
You acn always enter the powers of 10 as 10, [y^x], but is is less efficient than the EE key
This EE representation is a shortcut.
If you want 10 to the 5th power you just enter [2nd] [EE] 5 and the calculator displays 100000. Of course if you need any other number multiplying the power of ten you enter the following e.g. 2.677[x][2nd][EE]5.

You will not get any error with a positive exponent. But if your exponent is negative you should use the change signe key to the left of ENTER and symbolized by (-)

To avoid all errors I would use parentheses to enclose my exponent.

Here is how to explain the seemingly erroneous result

10 [EE] 5 ) (-) is interpreted by your calculator as 10x(10^(-5)) which evaluates correctly to 0.0001 because [EE] by itself stands for 10^ .

Hope it clarifies this point for you.

By the way some new calculators (Casio) don't have this EE key. Instead you find a key labeled x10^X .

Hope it helps
