Just change the ink cartridges - the print heads are built into the cartridges on this printer. If it sat unused for 8 months, then probably some ink dried in the tiny holes and clogged them. While it might be possible to dissolve it with distilled water, I haven't had very good luck with that. It would be simpler to just put in new cartridges.

How do i clean my hp psc printer 1315, dissemble?

I have the same question. I want to clean the inside of HP PSC 1315, I want to get beyond the scanner glass. I tried to use a screwdriver to unscrew the four screws on the four corners of the printer, but the screwdriver doesn't fit. Is there a special tool to use it. Were you be able to dissamble the printer ?
Please let me know. Thanks!

Hp 1300 series horizonal bars onprints please help

Print heads on the printer cartridges are dirty/clogged. Try running a few cleaning cycles. If there is no change simply change the cartridges. If printing photos let the machines know that's what you're trying to do, it will overlap passes with the print head to hide lines.
