Have you tried unplugging the printer, and cleaning the rollers with a damp wash cloth? this may let you get a little more use out of the rollers. Otherwise look into getting a replacement roller assembly, they are hard to find but they should still be available. (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=ml-610+pickup+rollers)

NOTE: Verify that you have thoroughly dried the pickup rollers before testing the printer again.

Replaced seperation pad?. separation pad work is to block multiple paper feeding, but in yourcase paper not at all feeding means paper pickup roller not picking up the papers.replace both 2 & 3 paper pickup rollers..

The samsung ml 2250 printer doesnt pick up the paper out of the paper cassette. It works someteiimes but mainly the paper is not picked up at all and you hear the noise like it wants to pick it up but cant...

Hi there,Don't think its the clutch. I would rather say its more a problem of the paper not getting pushed up against the pickup rollers so you could try stretching the spring a bit and see if it helps.. What you also could try is removing the tray and bypass the paper sensor and see if when you print the pickup roller does turn.

Error 13.01.00 hp 3005

Thank you for contacting FixYa with your printer inquiry.
This is usually a paper pickup error where paper pickup roller is not contacting the paper in the default paper tray or Pickup roller is worn smooth and not picking up the paper.
Turn the printer around and lift the flap behind the paper tray. If you have a flashlight, get it. You want to watch the action of the paper pickup roller. By observing to see if it is rotating, slipping on the paper or whatever, you should be able to determine why the paper isn't feeding.
Solutions: Make sure the paper size adjuster in the tray (Paper Backstop) is against the paper and correctly set for paper size.
Paper roller slippage - Needs to be replaced. Order a new one. Clean with water or alcohol in the interim while waiting for replacement. Eliminate all the paper dust. Sometimes works.
Part Number: RL1-1370-000CN Paper pickup roller - Picks up media from the paper input tray.

I have a hp laserjet 4250 printer it had a paper jam in tray 2 i have cleared the jam but it keeps saying i still have the jam in tray 2

There is still paper stuck in the printer. try lifting the printer off of tray 2 to inspect it or here it is straight from the service manual...

Jams in tray 2

Table 7-10 Causes of tray 2 jams

Cause Solution

The feed or separation rollers are dirty, worn, or damaged. Clean the rollers. If they are dirty after cleaning, or if they are

worn or damaged, replace the rollers.

The pickup roller is worn or damaged. Replace the pickup roller.

The tray 2 paper pickup assembly drive gears are damaged

or the assembly is defective.

Check the drive gears in the paper pickup drive assembly.

Replace the pickup drive assembly if the gears are

damaged. See Paper-pickup drive assembly.

The tray 2 pickup solenoid (SL101) is damaged. 1 Disconnect the connector for the tray pickup solenoid

from the dc controller PCA (location J92).

2 Measure the resistance between the cable connectors.

3 If the measured resistance is not approximately

160 ohms for the HP LaserJet 4200/4300, or 110 ohms

for the HP LaserJet 4250/4350, replace the tray 2

pickup solenoid.

The tray 2 lifter-drive assembly or the stack position

sensor (PS107) is defective.

Replace the lifter-drive assembly. See Tray 2 lifter-drive

assembly and/or Printer switches and sensors.

The dc controller PCA is defective. Replace the dc controller PCA. See Dc controller PCA.

Dirty, worn, or deformed pick-up roller, cassette separation

roller, and cassette feed roller.

Clean the rollers if they are dirty. Replace any worn or

deformed rollers. The cassette separation roller and the

cassette feed rollare are to be replaced together.

Damaged gears in the cassette pick-up drive unit. Move the gears in the cassette pick up drive unit. If the

gears are not rotating correctly, or are damaged or worn,
replace the cassette pick-up drive unit.

Does not pick up paper from the tray

How much paper gone throught the printer since it is new?
usually the pickup roller is good for 10,000-15,000 sheets.(20x500 sheet pack). if the printer went throught that much paper, then the pick up roller need to be replaced.
if not, make sure there nothing stucked on the pickup roller, and the roller is not shining (it need to be soft and rough).

The printer will not pick up a sheet of paper when I try to print. I get the message that there is no paper even though there is.

What printer do you have?
This problem is caused by "used" pickup rollers, that are the rubber rollers that pickup up the paper. As they cannot pick the paper, you get the message that there is not paper.
You may clean the rollers using a clean cloth with a litlle of alcohol and it should solve your problem.

Laserjet 1320 will not pick paper

Paper misfeeds and failure to pickup the paper are both common symptoms of a worn pickup roller. This roller is on the bottom of the printer as shown in the attached picture.

With use the rubber tire gets smooth and can't grip the paper enough to pick it up and push it into the printer. The roller kit is easy to install yourself and will get the printer back going as good as new. You can get the roller kit here:
