The screen on my camera is black. You can still see the text on top of it, the battery meter, and the flash sign but other than that, it's just black.

Hi,

This may be due to the CCD Image Sensor failure in the Camera.
To confirm the issue, please check if the previously captured images are displaying normally. The previously captured images and icons will get displayed normally if the CCD issue is there in the Camera.
If this happens only with the live view, then try Initializing the Camera.

The Initialize option can be done only if the Menu of the Camera is accessible. To access Initialize select MENU-->SETTINGS-->MAIN SETTINGS-->INITIALIZE-->OK.

The RESET button is located at the lower right side of the control button. To reset the camera, press the RESET button using a sharp-pointed object.

You may also try power resetting the camera. To power reset the Camera, remove the batteries from the Camera and then press and hold the POWER BUTTON of the Camera for 15 seconds and then reinsert the batteries after 1 minute and check if the Camera works normally.

If the issue is not resolved after resetting, service may be required.
Thanks for using FixYa.

The RESET button is not available for the DSCWX1 Camera, sorry for the confusion.

The light meter on my pentax k1000 is not working, despite new battery

Many possible causes. First is that the battery is in upside down. Next you should remove the bottom cover 3 screws and the bottom cover. You can then remove the battery compartment and check for battery leakage corrosion on the wire on the bottom. If the corrosion is too bad it will wick up the wire to the top circuit board. You would have to remove the front and top covers to replace the wire.

the least likely cause would be the failure of the photocell that turns on the meter.

finally, if the camera has been impacted the meter may be broken. Without a battery the needle should rest In the middle of the scale (half way between top and bottom, in the cut out). If, when you put in the battery and the needle goes either to the top or bottom and stays there, and stays there no matter what setting, it is a sign the meter is broken.

When I plug in my Samsung Galaxy S4 to charge it flashes the grey battery meter sign with a circle in the middle of it like its loading. The battery sign stays on for about 20 seconds, then it vibrates,...

I suggest buy a new phone, if you spent this much money on it and still doesn't work why keep it? You can probably ask to have your data sent to the new phone I hope i helped you :D

The battery charger is flashing red but doesn't seem to charge. What could be wrong?

This is usually a sign that that the battery is beyond charging. Test the charger and battery voltages with a meter if possible, but chances are that you need a new battery.

Im trying to take a photo of a black top but it keeps coming out grey, there is also a white blur round the edge of the top

Might be the wrong camera to take a professional shot with. The white balance is being read from the surrounding envionment so tends to lighten the intensity of the contrast. You may be able to alter the intensity on the PC in a pohotoshop program.. SATURATION, HUE, COLOR BALANCE option. You cannot generally get an intense black on screen of cheap camera in daylight or even using flash. The camera is designed to give an average overall metering through the lens.

Higher quality cameras let you alter the Kelvins ( temperature) of the shot to improve on contrast etc. They also have spot metering, which is a series of boxes seen through the viewfinder that can be programed to allow for depth of field focus and contrast metering.

So if you dont have a better camera then use a photo manipulating program to change the picture to your liking

Panasonic TH58PX600U 58 in. HDTV Plasma. Image is Distorted

I could not see the image you say you included in your description. If the rectangle is black (and not just an outline) it may be the box associated with captioning or text descriptions. Use your setup menu or remote control to turn captioning/text off.

Error

Here is where you can download a copy of the manual from:
Fuji S2 Manual
This is what the manual says about your error:
If FEE in in top display: "CPU Nikkor lens other than G-type
is not set to its minimum aperture. Fix: Set lens to minimum aperture."
If FEE is in viewfinder: "Attached flash is not set at TTL
Auto Flash in “P” mode. Fix: Set the external flash mode to TTL, or set the camera’s exposure mode to “S”, “A” or “M”."
Are you using a flash that attaches to the camera?
If not, then the problem is with the aperture setting. It looks like you would have to set the camera dial to M, for Manual, and use the ring on the lens to set the aperture.
The low battery symbol looks like a battery, all black when charged, half-black as power goes down.
This looks like a nice camera, hope I was able to help.
