Hey check to see if you can move the drum by hand,, if you cant the the bearings on the drum have gone and it is seized ..
If you can turn it by hand then most likely it is the carbon brushes on the motor..
hope this helps
any questions dont hesitate to contact me im here to help....

Just fixed the same problem - new brushes on ebay were only £5. Fitting the brushes was fiddly and easiest if you take the motor off, which was easy to do (just 2 bolts).
SOURCE: changing brushes on motor of Bosch WFL 2450 washing machine
Remove rear panel of washer, and undo 2 screws that secure the motor, lever motor back with a screwdriver or similar, and unplug motor lead.
Be sure to keep hold of the motor so it does not drop on the floor.
You will see the brushes at the terminal end of motor, remove and replace.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

hi there ...it sounds as the watyer leak has found its way into the motor windings and damaged the motor..and the control module.....could be a very expensive repair
