Hi, After about year and half Whirlpool duet sport gave F01 error code. The technician manual is located under the lower front panel. There are three possible reasons for F0: 1) EEPROM ERROOR. Unplug a washer for two minutes. Try running it again. (Did not work for me). 2) MAIN RELAYS ERROR. The tech manual suggests replacing CCU. The following is what I did and it fixed the problem, however. Unplug the washer. Remove the top cover by removing the three screws on the back. The CCU unit is in the right bottom corner if standing in front of the washer – it has a lot of wiring. Plug in the unit. While listening to the CCU start any washing cycle. After pressing START you should hear the relay to click. If it clicks twice, within a less than a second, it has a problem. Unplug the washer. Without disconnecting any wires remove the CCU cage from the washer wall. Stand now on the right hand side of the washer in such way that the CCU cage is under your left hand. Pull the right upper corner of the CCU plastic cage (it has a tab) away from you, slide the cage to the right by about an inch, and pull the entire cage away from you. Now knock on the back side of the cage 4-5 times with a bit of force. Install the CCU cage back. Plug in the unit. Try some washing cycle again. If it did not help, repeat the procedure. If it did not work again, see the following. 3) PUMP DRIVE ERROR. The tech manual suggests replacing CCU.

Start the Service History Mode to recall the most recent error codes stored and determine the possible cause of the problem.

Close the door and select any one button except Pause/Cancel. Follow this sequence on the selected button: Press and hold for 4 seconds>Release for 4 seconds>Press and hold for 4 seconds>Release for 4 seconds>Press and hold for 4 seconds. The console indicator lights will turn on for 5 seconds upon releasing the button.

The cycle indicator lights will flash and the appropriate status indicator will turn on if there is an error code recalled. For models with Estimated Time Remaining display, the error code will be displayed.

Press the same button to advance to the next error code. List down the error codes and post it back here.

All of the indicator lights on the console will turn on for 5 seconds if there is no more error code to display. Press Pause/Cancel button to exit.

The program will proceed to the Automatic Diagnostic Test Mode if the Pause/Cancel button is not pressed within the 5 seconds period. This test will check the operation of the machine's components. Press Pause/Cancel to exit the test.

Below are the indicators and components tested during the Diagnostic Test..

  • Rinse/Spin ----- The door Locks
  • Clean Washer ----- Cold water inlet valve opens.
  • Delicate/Hand Wash ----- The hot water inlet valve opens and fills the tub up to the wash level.
  • Quick Wash ----- The drum executes a reversing movement at wash speed for 30 seconds.
  • Normal/Casual ----- The drum executes a reversing movement at wash speed for 30 seconds.
  • Heavy Duty ----- The drain pump turns on.
  • Whitest Whites ----- The drum rotates counterclockwise and ramps up to the maximum speed.
List down the results of the test above and post it back here for the repair guide.

The Diagnostic Test Mode can be activated without going to the Service History Mode. Close the door and press the Power button. Press the Extra Rinse button four times within 5 seconds. Press Extra Rinse button again to proceed to the next step of the test procedure. Press the Pause/Cancel button to exit or cancel the test.

Note: The washer must be empty and the control is in the Off state before starting any test.

Whirlpool duet ht will not agitate or spin

Front load washers don't "agitate". Did you mean it doesn't tumble during the wash cycle? I need more information. Complete model # and a more detailed description of the issue.

F30 error code...what is this problem?

F30 is a dispenser failure code on the Duet Sport washer.
It means the dispenser motor will not go to the proper position.
Remove the top of the washer and inspect the dispenser linkage to see if it is binding up.
Post back with what you find and we will check from there.
Thanks/Mike
