This is going to be tricky. Kango was bought out by Milwaukee tools and that model is not available. The springs you are going to need to measure with a caliper for length, width and diameter of the wire. The carbonbrushes if they are short and you will replace them there is a long brown wire on one of the 2 brushes thats goes inside the handgrip but be careful there are 2 plastic pieces for the power licht and the carbon brush is on a electronic modul inside the handgrip by a sliding contact 90 degrees beware also on the black damping rings inbetween the machine and handgrip 4 pieces to protect vibrations . if you have open the handgrip i will say that you allways control the bearing at the end of the armature because its a very to small choosen bearing that is oft in bad condition i mean it , if it has its operating hours if the carbon brushes are short.but the handgrip must be opened for remove the brushes.

Could be brushes, switch or wiring. Use a meter to see.

Check:

• frayed wires where it enters Kango
• is power at switch
• Power thru the switch
• Frayed wires at cord plug
• And finally - Brushes

These are the EASY checks, if none of the above, take it to your local service center.

What kango hammer do you have? I am most familiar with the UK kango 900 and 950, pre-milwaukee.

they usually heat shrunk on, to remove it you will probbley damage it.

what country are you in? in australia atlas copco are the distrbutors. i`m sure you can find out on the internet
