SOURCE: fridge freezer not cooling from new - buttons not working
Sounds like an air flow problem from the freezer section to the refer section. Check that nothing is blocking the air vents, and that the dampers are operating properly (they control the flow of air). Of course if it's under warranty... call the service techs out.
SOURCE: Warm Fridge Section
sounds like the evaporator fan in the freezer is not moving the air. also there is an air damper door at the top center of the fridge that controls air flow from the freezer to the fridge. check those two components and you will find your problem.
SOURCE: Amana energy saver not keeping fridge section cool enough. HELP!
if there is frost build up on rear wall of freezer section the unit is not going through defrost cycle which builds up frost on evaporator and restricts cold air flow to the fresh food section. one of three things are bad. defrost heater, defrost thermostat or defrost timer. if no frost on rear wall you might be low of freon.
SOURCE: Creda R335NW Fridge/Freezer. The fridge section
The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent
between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through
it. There is a flap you adjust with the
fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the
fridge temp
If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer
are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of
cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.

You have done a good job of attempting to diagnose by process of elimination, but this is a more complex system. I have provided some links below to assist you in diagnosing your problem. Links courtesy of www.repairclinic.com.
1. Ascertain that the evaporator fan is operational. This may be controlled by the Door Switch, (No.4) and could cause the fan to be inoperable.
2. Ascertain that the Fresh Food compartment light goes off when door is closed.
3. The air diffuser may be faulty by not controlling the air flow from the freezer properly
Tip: Always maintain dual temperature control settings at equal or +/- 1 setting position.

You will need to verify operation of the following components listed below:
1. Evaporator fan motor
2. Air diffuser assembly
3. Light switch for refrigerator/freezer light
4. Door switch

Parts breakdown diagram:

When the freezer section gets cold and reaches
its required cooling temperature, after that the frost on freezer section
starts defrosting and the cooling fan in the freezer section blows this cool
air from freezer to fridge. But if the defrost cycle does not start then over ice will get collected on freezer ventilations and that will block the air passing section from freezer to fridge, so the
freezer gets cool but fridge section does not cool.Try manual defrost by unplugging the
refrigerator from main power outlet for 4 hours then reconnect it and check, if
the same problem is noticed again,. If yes then its defrost board problem. The
defrost board located in the back of fridge section. You can get required parts
