If you hear the pump running and not draining, then take the toe panel off. Should be 3 1/4" screws on bottom. Remove the "coin catch". It looks like a BIG screw and it's white. Turn counterclockwise. There may be a sock, change ect...clogging it up. Dump it out and run machine. Have towel or bucket ready when removing coin catch.

Press cancel or if that doesn't work unplug the washer from the main socket - this should clear all the settings so that you can reset the washer.

SOURCE: Duet Sport HT WFW8400TE Washer: Whirlpool Duet Sport HT front loader is stopping b...

First check your washer plug to see if the connections are tightly screwed. Next check your filter if you haven't for long.

Remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained by your pump) After you hv drained unscrew the cap and remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and water. Refit carefully after cleaning out. If not solved, something shd be blocking your pump, check this out

I hVe a whirlpool duet washer 3 years old error code F3 E2 door won’t open as of now.

The E2-F3 error usually doesn't cause a door lock problem. This error relates to the water temperature sensor. Frequently, the problem is that one wire in the wiring harness has broken. Then the message doesn't get to the control board. You'll have to unplug the wiring and test each individual strand. The insulation around the wiring will make it hard to visually find the broken wire. If the wires are intact, then the temperature sensor or the control board have a fault.

With the door lock problem, I'd suspect a problem with more of the wiring or the control board. First though try pressing Cancel, Drain and Spin (to drain any remaining water) or the power button. Some Duet washers have a Fan Dry option that keeps the door locked until the washer cycle is stopped with the Power button. Alternatively, try unplugging the washer or turning it off at the circuit breaker. Wait 30 minutes and then reconnect the power. If the control board sends the message to the lock then the door should open shortly.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the washer model number if you would like information on the price of the control board or a parts diagram. There should be a wiring diagram and trouble-shooting sheet inside the washer near the control panel. Open the back of this section of the washer to find it.

Whirlpool Duet Sport Model WFW8300SW0 basket won't

The following list of codes indicates an electronics communication problem with the washer: - Duet HT washer - F01, F03, F06, F11, F23, F24, F27, F28, F29, F30, F31, F32, F35, F42, F61, F62, F63, F64, F65, F70, F71, and F99

If Pause/Cancel does not work:
  1. Unplug washer or disconnect power for one minute.
  2. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
  3. Re-select the cycle and press Start.
NOTE: If the error remains on the display, call for service.

I would first replace the door latch/lock assembly, a number of users have and it fixed the F-11 error code completely. Its the cheapest part for this problem.

Hope helps.

My washer stops and suds flash on the display

Sud: Suds lock (overdose of detergent detected during wash cycle)
The motor control unit senses a suds lock condition by analyzing the
current draw on the drive motor. If "Sud" is displayed a potential Suds
Lock is detected. This may signify a bad pump, an extra heavy load,
excessive detergent, or excessive suds.
Possible causes/procedure:
If too much detergent was used:
-Run the unit through a Rinse/Spin cycle.
-Run a Normal cycle without adding any detergent.
This should clear the unit of the excess detergent.
1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged
or kinked.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check wire harness connections to the drain pump,
pressure switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU).
4. Check/clean drain pump filter of foreign objects.
5. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
6. Check drain pump.
7. Check the pressure switch.
8. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any
cycle.themobilian_756.jpg

Control locked light is on and washer won't turn on. Can press "Control On" and Cancel/Pause buttons at the same time to get the power on but won't start.

Looking at the manual of my Whirlpool front loader gives me the following advice...

CONTROL WON’T ACCEPT SELECTIONS
1. Press PAUSE/CANCEL button on the touch-pad twice.
2. Drain the unit, then check that the drain hose and drain
pump filter are clear of foreign objects.
3. Check the touch-pad/LED assembly by selecting different
cycles and changing the modifiers and options available to
confirm the touch-pad/LED is responding.
4. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
5. Check harness connections.
6. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
7. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any
cycle

I have a whirlpool duet sport with an error code F21. It is not a blocked drian pipe, and is making a noise with the pump.

check drain trap for restriction
If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves turn off.
This error code is only shown in Diagnostic test.
Possible Causes/Procedure
- Ask the customer how much detergent they are using and if it is HE
detergent. May have too much suds present causing this condition.
- Turn washer ON to verify pump operates; run the drain cycle.
- Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
- Unplug washer or disconnect power
- Make sure that wire harness connections at the Drain Pump, Pressure SW,
& CCU (DP2, PR6 cavities) connectors are not broken or with wires detached,
and that connector internal pins are visible.
- Check continuity from the Drain Pump & CCU (DP2 cavity) connectors.
- Check continuity from the Pressure SW & CCU (PR6 cavity) connectors.
- If the continuity diagnosis failed, Main Harness must be replaced.
- Make continuity test to the Pressure SW. See page 8.
- Check the resistance of the motor pump. See page 8.
- Plug in washer or reconnect power.
- Run the drain cycle.
- If the failure continues, unplug washer or disconnect power.
- Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
- Disassemble the drain pump from the washer.
- Check that the impeller is not detached from the motor shaft. If the
impeller is detached from the shaft, is broken or has any scratches,
the drain pump must be replaced.
- Plug in washer or reconnect power.
- Verify the unit operation by performing the Diagnostic Test cycle.
See page 5.
- After the diagnostic test has finished, unplug washer or disconnect
power and wait for 15 seconds.

Whirlpool Duet wfw8300sw shows code Sd and makes clicking noise while operatiing, than stops with the code Sd.

"F21" (AKA SD) is a Long (SLOW) Drain error (LD). If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a "SUDS" error may also be displayed. This may be an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:

1.First, attempt to unplug the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code returns, proceed to step 2.
2.Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
3.Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
4.Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.
To check the drain pump, click on the following link for step-by-step instructions

http://www.fixya.com/support/r385844-checking_drain_pump_kenmore_elite_front

If the above procedures do not correct the problem, it is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the drain pump.
