SOURCE: Problem programming Zenith Digital TV Converter DTT901 remote.

Be sure that your TV is set to channel 3 or 4 if you are using the RF cable or Video 1, etc if using the Audio/Video cable.  The Installation  Guide should appear.  The "improved" picture that you are seeing is simply the analog throughput, not the digital conversion.

SOURCE: tv is locked in menu mode

Ok, you should be able to go to the philips web site and download a software for your TV for free.
The web site should show you how to preform this procedure with a USB memory stick.

I hope this works for you. So far, it worked for everyone else that had the same problem.

Can my Olivia LCD LT26 be hooked to an indoor had antennae? Once antennae hooked up what are next steps?

Yes. Depending on your location depends on how well it will work. If you are in the US you can go to antennaweb.org and get a fairly accurate idea if an indore antenna will work and what you can expect to receive. After you connect your antenna you need to do a channel search.

How to get to menu then adjust it to antena?

First make sure that an antenna is connected the coaxial input on the TV and the input is set to TV. There is an Input button on the top of the TV and on the original remote. On the remote, the Input button is below and slightly to the right of the 0 button. On the top of the TV, the Input button is the one closest to the Power button. You can toggle through the Inputs by pressing the Input button several times or use the up/down arrows and then press the Input button to select the input. (TV should be the top item in the list.)

Next press the Menu button on the remote, above and to the right of the arrow keys. (There is no Menu button on the TV.) Use the left/right arrows to navigate to Setup. Next use the up/down arrows to select CH setup. Press Enter. If you've set a PIN, you'll need to enter it. Use the up/down arrows to select the line Air/Cable, if you need to change the source of your signal. Press Enter. Use the left/right arrows to select your source. Press Enter to save the setting. Press Menu to exit. Return to this CH setup menu and use the up/down arrows to select CH Search and press Enter. If you are using an OTA antenna, use the left/right arrows to select Start and press Enter. Wait for the search to be completed. For cable sources, you'd need to select from Analog Search Start or Digital and Analog Search Start. Press Cancel and then Enter to exit the search.

Crutchfield has the manual for the LC-32D62U available from the product page under the Details tab: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-mhRC3OB2Fi4/p_284LC32D62/Sharp-LC-32D62U.html . The direct link to the manual is http://d2stobyut4u5rx.cloudfront.net/ImageBank/v20080124174400/Manuals/284/284LC32D62.PDF . The Input button use is available on page 30 of the manual. The channel search steps are shown on page 23.

I hope this helps. Please note, if you have an replacement universal remote, you may need to try multiple codes for Sharp TVs to get the Menu button to work. If your replacement remote doesn't have a Menu button or none of the codes work, then you'll need a different remote.

You should be able to get OTA (over the air broadcast) just make sure you have an antenna plugged in and that the tuner is set to AIR.

Setting the Tuner Mode
If you are using a device that is connected to the RF input, such
as an external antenna or cable TV connection, you must set the
tuner mode.
1. Press the MENU button on the remote. The on-screen menu is
displayed.
2. Use the Arrow buttons on the remote to highlight the
Settings icon and press OK. The Settings menu is displayed.
3. Highlight Tuner and press OK. The Tuner Mode menu is
displayed.
4. Highlight Antenna or Cable and press OK.
5. Press the EXIT button on the remote.
Scanning for Channels
Before the TV can detect and display channels and their
associated information, you must scan for channels. A channel
scan may also be necessary when the TV has been moved to an
area where different free-to-air broadcast television channels are
available.
1. From the Tuner Settings menu,
highlight Auto Channel Scan.
The auto channel scan begins.
2. Wait until the channel scan is
100% complete. Highlight Done
and press OK.
3. Press the EXIT button on the
remote.

How to get off the Memory Card menu on a Thomson Intuiva 27LB130S5?

In fact, you have entered its service menu mode, and cannot exit from this mode, I assumes. Check the link given below. It has details about how enter and exit service mode to different brand TVs. Pull up older posts there, or do a search by its search box, by entering the brand name of your TV. V-chip block passcode

Hello
You must have its original remote control handset to unlock your Mitsubishi tv.

After you set the lock, you must use your pass code

to view a locked program, view the locked TV, view

a locked channel, cancel the lock, or enter the Lock

menus.

If you forget your pass code, you can view the locked

TV without entering your pass code. When you are

prompted for your pass code, press the number 9 and

QV keys on the TV remote control at the same time. This

process temporarily unlocks the TV.

When entering the Lock menu, this process deletes

your old pass code and prompts you to enter a new

pass code.

• You can either enter a new pass code to open the

Lock menu and make changes or press EXIT to close

the menu.

• If any of the locks are turned on and you exit the

menus when prompted for a new code, the old

code and all lock settings are retained.

• If all locks are turned off and you exit the menus

when prompted for a new code, then the previous
code is erased.
OK.

How do you set up the Soya TV. Is it cable ready?

Hi,

Yes, your TV is cable ready. To set up, you will need to use the original remote and complete the following steps.

1. Connect your cable box to your TV using either antenna (RF) cable or component A/V
2. Press the "MENU" button on your remote
3. Select "CHANNELS" using the up/down arrow buttons on your remote and press "OK"
4. Select "SCAN CHANNEL" and press"OK".
5. Select "CABLE" as the source and press "OK" to tune

The TV should now automatically tune the cable stations and exit the menu. If you need to exit the menu and/or start again just press "MENU" on the remote again.

If you have no picture, press the "INPUT" button on your remote repeatedly until the input is on "TUNER" if you are using an RF cable or "COMPONENT" if you are using component A/V cable.

Your TV should now be setup for watching cable.

Please post back if you need further assistance.

The TV keeps going to the MENU on it's own...When you exit to TV it goes back to menu within 5 seconds

Hey djames1971 - did you ever get this resolved? My Philips is doing the same exact thing now; sooooo annoying. If I keep monkeying with the exit setting it eventually goes to the TV and stays there, but it doesn't fix it by any means. Next time I go to turn it on I have the same battle with it.

I can't find out how to switch the TV from cable to antena. Where is the switch?

If you have the original remote, it is the "source" button.
If not there, select menu and go to the source option and select "antenna", then press menu again to save & exit.

If no remote, the on the TV, press thge menu button and go to the source submenu and select "antenna".
At this point, you may want to do an automatic channel scan before you exit the screen via the menu button.

Hope this helps!

Mitsubishi VS-5003R TV is on but won't connect to cable.

this is the service menu , try to exit out of it , if you can't turn off power on both cable box and tv then unplug both of them and disconnect the cable from the tv , leave it unplugged for at least 10 min , then try it again , if it still does it then the crystal that is connected to the IR sensor and EEPROM IC needs to be replaced as the IR sensor should be also replaced
hope it comes out of that!, if not we can try to set the menu settings for it being like a clock and #1 on the remote to exit the menu
let me know what happens , thanks,
