The TI BA-II Executive Business Analyst (maybe not your model) has a key labeled FIX. It is in the middle of the topmost row of keys. Press the FIX key followed by the number of decimal digits you want.

Press 2nd [FORMAT] 2 ENTER. FORMAT is the 2nd function of the decimal point key, ENTER is the second key on the top row of the keyboard.

This procedure is valid for The TI BA II (executive Business Analyst). Press [2nd][FIX] to access the (MODE) setting. As you execute the key sequence [2nd][FIX] the Mode change cycle s between FIN STAT and the regular computational mode.

Clear calc and mode registers & select two decimal places- ON/C, 2nd, CMR,FIX,2
Select FIN Mode - 2nd, FIN repeat until FIN shows up in display
Enter months in mortgage - N
Divide annual interest rate by 12 - Enter result as %i
Subtract down payment from cost of home - Enter result as PV
Compute monthly payment - 2nd, PMT
for Payments at beginning of month , press DUE, PMT
