this is possible, youll need a kit that sets on top of the washer, check back where you bought the washer and dryer, they make a washer and dryer combo thats one peice, they are smaller however
Disconnect the water, vent duct, and electric connection to gain access to the rear of the machine. Be prepared to catch any water that comes out of the hoses.
On the rear of the dryer, remove the panel that's behind the dryer section (upper panel).
If the belt is intact, make a drawing of the belt's route.
If the belt is broken, remove and discard it.
Slide the new belt onto the drum to approximately where it belongs (lined up with the motor pulley). I think this model might have a groove for the belt where it rides on the drum.
With the slack portion of the belt, squeeze it to make a loop and push it through and onto the tensioner pulley on the bottom of the dryer.
Using the tensioner spring to relax the belt (pull it toward the motor pulley), slip the belt onto the motor pulley.
Check the belt by pulling on it to see if the drum, motor and tensioner are rotating freely (don't pinch your fingers!).
I am not the best at abstract description. I hope this helped.
The dryer has been over loaded too often. Try to determine if squeak is from the front or back. The felt pad dirty. If it is from the bottom, then the tension roller is binding and needs lubrication.
Remove the front panel to the washer. Screws across the bottom. Push down on the front panel, then pull it out. Belt should go around transmission, motor pulley and tension roller.
look to see if you have the little access panel on the back, you can remove this and have access to the belt and pulley system,if not there let me know and we'll try something else-mike
