Check if the lid isnt working as this prevents a roration . Else must be a loosened or broken belt that rotates the drum as the motor works . Hope this helps
If the drum is turning then its most likely the tacho on the back of the motor or the wires connecting the tacho to the control panel. So the motor is turning but the panel can't control the speed so will switch off straight away. If the drum doesnt turn but you hear the motor kick, then the drum belt is broken...
Could be one of several things. The drum turns by motor and fan belt around the drum. The most common problem is that the fan belt is broken. Check to see that the drum is free and not bound up by frozen bearings. Also that nothing is jamming the drum. If everything seems to be ok --- you need to check the pulley on the motor shaft and be sure it is tight on the shaft . More than likely -- it is a broken belt. I hope this helped.
Try turning drum, or remove top from dryer to confirm if belt has gone. When turning drum there should be some resistance as the belt fits around the drum
motor running but drum not turning, good chance drum drive belt is broken or has jumped off drive pully.
UNPLUG POWER CORD TO DRYER.
open dryer and look for broken belt, if belt is broken use modle number from dryer to purchas the correct belt for dryer install belt and reasmbele dryer. reconect power and test dryer.
From your description I would suspect a broken belt although I am unfamiliar with your model. Once the belt [which transfers drive from the motor to the drum] breaks, it would'nt matter how well the motor runs, it can't turn the drum.
Hope this helps!
