SOURCE: Unit is running, but not getting water to trays,

It could be the solenoid where your water line comes in from the wall and sends it up to the freezer. Follow your water line to the bottom of the frige it could either be in the back or the front. Might try looking under the fridge to see if you can see it that way.

Swan essential SDW7020W not draining, after emptying surplus water dishwasher worked and then failed.

Hello. Can you hear the drain pump running or humming? If it is humming or running, that means power is getting to the pump and the main board is actively initiating it properly. If running and not draining, most likely, there is food or other objects jammed in the pump or drain line. If you have a wet-dry vacuum, remove its filter from the motor(so it doesn't get wet), remove the drain line from under the sink, try to suck out the water with it. Sometimes, the high suction from a wet-dry vac can free a clog, especially if the drain pump is also running and trying to push water out. You might have to repeat this several times. If you can't get any water out, you will have to probably remove the pump and clean it out, and/or the drain hose also. If you are hesitant to do any of this, call for service because this can be a VERY involved repair. If you try to repair the unit yourself, ALWAYS TURN OFF THE POWER before starting--you are going to be around water and wires--think safety.

I have jacuzzi fm sand filter pool pump can see that one of the water outlets in the pool is not working as effectively as the other When I turn unit on both gauges flutter out of control and after thirty...

close all the valves on the filter and return line..you dont want any water running out of the pool.. then remove the pump lint pot cover..and the strainer if equipted with one..get pressurized air and blow backwards into the low side pool return see if anything may be blocking those lines..sometimes leaves or floating debris gets past the pump and filter and will collect in some of the underneath joints and passages .. it takes air to release it..like plunging your toilet..

My Bosch 500 series has a code of E:02 what does that mean..Alos. on yesterday it would not spin out my clothes!! HELP!!!

E02 seems to be that the water lines coming in (either hot, cold, or both) are either blocked or turned off. Basically the machine isn't getting any incoming water.

Begin your pump cleaning procedure by first disconnecting the power and turning the water supply lines off; to properly remove the access panel, find a very small slotted (flat bladed) screwdriver that will fit easily into the hole in the access panel. Gently push in ever so slightly and rotate the access panel clockwise. The panel will fall away and you will now see inside the unit a rather large handle.

NOTE: Before removing the pump drain get yourself a towel to catch the water that will come spilling out of the pump housing. There is a good amount of water, nearly a 1 litre / 1 quart.

Grasp the handle and rotate it counter-clockwise. The water in the pump will drain out, as will any lint or debris material in this filter unit.

Using an CLEAN rag, proceed to wipe out the interior of the housing. Any material that builds up in here can be a source for odors left in your clothing. It is a good idea to clean this housing at least 1 or 2 times per year, depending on how much use your units gets. The more loads per week, especially if you have a rather large family, you might consider doing this cleaning 4 times a year with the changing of the seasons.

You will also need to clean the filter plug. Be careful not to damage the rubber gasket, if you damage the gasket the housing will leak.

When everything is clean, re-install the filter plug, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN! Re-install the access panel. Turn on the water supply lines and replug the AC line into the wall outlet. Run a Quick Wash cycle to clean out the pump of any other loosened materials.

Hope this helps (remmeber to rate this answer).

Been sitting for a while, filled with fuel, turn on runs for 5-10 secs then shuts off and light blinks ?? model 3ve51

You need to pull a little maintenance on this unit. Locate and remove the burner tray, on the tray you will find a flame sensor, this detects flame and permits the unit to run. These collect carbon deposits, dirt and the occasional insect seeking shelter. So clean it with windex and a soft terry cloth rag. Next is the fuel nozzle, find it , remove it, and they say you can not clean these but I say q-tips, tooth pick and carb cleaner will do the trick just be careful not to damage the nozzle. Directly behind the nozzle is a screen these like to corrode durring storage, so clean it good too. Put assembly back together and inspect all fuel lines for holes, leaks,or dry rotten conditions. Now inspect fuel lines to the filter, if an in line filter (small plastic filter) clean with compressed air and blow gun, blow air backwards thru the filter instantly cleaned. If a large oil type filter replace it with a new one and do not forget to fill the filter before putting it on.Make sure that your fuel is clean and no water has developed in it from condensation, if water is present drain fuel and clean out the tank put new fuel in and it should now work for you. Happy heating

I have a Frigidaire Gallery front loader. It runs

Do the following.

  1. Switch off the machine, unplug or disconnect the mains power to the machine and turn off the water supply to the machine.
  2. Remove the filter and make sure that the filter is not blocked and is clean and clear of all debris. Clean as required. Note that if the machine has stopped and not fully drained then you may be able to drain out the excess water by removing or disconnecting the waste hose and laying it on the ground in a tray. It may take a few minutes to empty but it will save a small flood.
  3. Proceed by checking the drain hose for proper connection and kinks and make sure that it is not blocked or restricted.
  4. Also check that the main waste drain pipe and one way valve to a sink waste connection if you use one, is not blocked and clean if required.
  5. Access the pump from under the lower rotor arm and protective grille and check that the impeller is free to move and is not clogged or restricted by debris or sludge. Clean as required.
  6. Reconnect the power and switch the machine on.
If the problem persists then do the following.
7. Switch off the machine and disconnect the mains power. It is a good idea to take digital pictures of the pump assembly before attempting to work on it or remove it so that you can refer back to it when you reassemble the unit or replace it with a new unit at a later date / time.
8. Remove and check the electrical connections to the pump and make sure they are in good order.
9. Remove the connecting hoses, and expect water to drain out and make sure the pipes are not blocked with debris or any object blockage. If they are then clean them thoroughly.
10. Then remove the pump and check motor is OK and that the motor turns OK. Also check that the pump impeller vanes are in good order and not blocked. If necessary replace the pump with a new and identical unit.
11. Carefully reassemble the pump observing the correct placement of gaskets, seals, O Rings, hoses and securing straps, electrical wiring.
12. Reconnect the hoses and then reconnect power and switch the machine on.

The water solinoid is not sending water to my ice tray

Had the same problem. As long as the ice machine is still moving, meaning its working but just no water is getting to the ice tray.  order part #2205762 valve, solenoid and change it out.  It is not hard to do if you pay attention to how you take the old one out.

Lack of water in tray.

check and make sure that as it makes ice that no water is spilling over or out of the freeze tray. only a set amount of water comes in to refill resevoir. if you lose water during the freeze cycle the water level gets below the blades of the pump and it will sound like the pump is tearing up.
