Assuming the compressor is sized correctly( and usually they are) There are a couple of fairly easy things to check.
1.) The compressor unit.
Are the fan(or fans ) operating. Some units have two condenser fans and will operate with only one until the temperature gets too high for it to keep up.
Is the coil clean. A dirty coil can cause unit to fail too keep up in high temperatures.
2.) The evaporator unit .
Same as condenser unit . Are the fans all working
Are the coils clean.
3.) Defrost Timer. Is the time set correctly .
Is the unit defrosting during low usage time periods.

Hope this helps

SOURCE: Amana BX22A2W - freezer works, fridge not cooling

Same problem here with an Amana refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom. I removed the back panels and vacuumed dust and cat hair out. The back panel in the freezer was frosted over with ice on the bottom. I removed the shelves and food and used a hairdryer to loosen the panel. The ice maker made it harder to remove the plastic panel so I pulled it back and saw the cooling fins frozen solid. I used the hairdryer to melt the ice and a shop vacuum to collect the water. It works like new again.

SOURCE: sub zero 532. freezer works fine --0 degrees.

check the fan that runs between the freezer and the fridge --check fan for ice blockage -debris-or damage / clean or clear blockage --if not running test wiring and connections as well as motor /repair or replace //also check fan damper is not frozen or blocked its flap that opens and closes for air to flow //----ur fridge side is cooled from the the freezer side the cold air is blown in from the freezer if fan or damper is not working correctly than fridge is usually warm and freezer is working properly

I have a kenmore elite upright freezer model 253.26072100 and it is in an outside room that has no insulation the temperature keeps alternating causing the alarm to sound does this need to be indoors?

most all appliances are designed to be in an ambient not to exceed 80 degrees. Units will function but not up to design specs and would really strain to work. Only commercial unit can survive in temps up to 95 degrees in the Southeast U.S. and this temp varies depending on your general location.

What is the low pressure for a 410a 3 1/2 York when is 90temp at fh outside.

The outside ambient temp has little effect on the suction pressure. The indoor temp is what will slightly effect the suction pressure. In the trade we say we want a 40 degree evap coil, this means approximately 125psi. This is when the indoor temp is around 74 to 78 degrees. The hotter the house, the higher the pressure. I like to see a 50 degree evaporator when the indoor temp is above 80. Charging by subcooling is the way to go!!

Freezer not working when its cold in the garage.

Where do you keep the fridge? If you keep it outside then most likely the condensor coils in the freezer may be freezing over and the only way to fix that is to keep it above 40 degrees outside the fridge.

I've a pentair solar control panel for my solar system for my pool. On one sunny and very warm day in California, the water in the pool remained cold after a few hours of circulation. Therefore, I was...

There are many variables to this......

How big is your pool how big is your solar system.

Solar temps don't rise quickly ever, and definitely not when the temp is only 75 outside.

You need 80-90 degrees or more on the roof to see quicker results, if the water temp is currently at 70 and it's 75 degrees outside and 80 on the roof you will barely get any change.

You will also lose the heat at night due to lower temperatures.

Once it's hotter outside and warmer at night you get the gains and keep them.

Hope this helps

A/C units have a design temperature of 90F. Now when the temperature is above 90F they start to have trouble keeping up. Depending on how well your unit is sized for the house, you will notice when the temp is over 90F. I don't know if who ever looked at your unit checked the refrigerant pressures since you said he checked the temps but I assume he did, however, it could possibly need charging.

What is the max. surrounding temperature for it operate efficiently

Most of these items are built to go as high as 95 degrees and somewhat function. I would not go above 80 degrees based on my 25 years of experience in working with commercial refrigeration. If it's a residential unit, I have a chest freezer in my garage for the last 8 years and not had any problems at all. I'm in the middle of Georgia and temps get pretty high in the summer.
Hope this helps.

Temperature setting

The fridge should be just above freezing, maybe 2 or 3 degrees celsius. The freezer should be around -15 degrees celsius. The outside temp doesn't matter as far as the settings go.

How do turn the temp up on a norlake walkin?

They are usually mounted on the front panel of the evaporator or mounted on the wall behind the evaporator. There is a possibility that the temp. control is at the condenser, and the sensing bulb was slipped thru the wall.Look for the bulb at the back of the evaporator and follow the cap tube.
