SOURCE: My Honda Element 2008 has a VSA Warning light and

It may be as simple as your oil condition or oil level. If you have poor oil in your engine the VTEC system will not operate properly and when RPMs reach 2800 or so it will buck. If everything checks okay with the oil have the code checked for your check engine light/VSA light.

SOURCE: Accord - 2004 check engine, (!)& VSA turns on the loss of power

The exact same thing just happened to me yesterday on a seven hour road trip from Atlanta. I have a manual V6 Ex four door, and I had to turn the car off and back on and allow the car to start with momentum while still driving for over three hours just to keep from have to rent a car and avoid a tow.

I have 58,000 miles on my 2006 accord, and I feel that I really got bit with purchasing this car. I almost got screwed with the third gear blow-out situation that Honda hid from buyers, but I caught mines while under warranty; still, I'm holding it against them with the next car purchase.

This was suppose to be my traveling car when I retired, and I keep a second car to "save" this car from city driving, and it is primarily used for these kinds of road trips of night driving through the mountains in the middle of the night.

I've had three Honda in a row with no issues at all, but luckily, I'm a fair weather fan, and I'll stick with a brand whether they "win or win"... and Honda isn't winning in my book, so I'm abandoning them whether it is covered under warranty or not.

SOURCE: vsa and management light on honda accord type s

A scan tool will be needed, this like the check engine light, the computers are aways testing the systems in which they operate and when theres a problem the computer will turn the light on to let you know theres a problem and then it will store a code, the code will tell you where the problem is and with some checking the problem can be found, for example they scan the computer for codes and the code pops up as po352 left front wheel sensor, this would mean a problem with that sensor, VSA = vehicle stability assist, this is to keep control of car under slippery conditions or when skidding, it will release brake and also keep tires from spinning in snow or wet road, theres a button to turn this system on or off a light on dash will let you know if its on or off, so start by having it scanned, you will need to take to dealer or shop, you will not notice any diffrence in driving it just wont stablize if the tires spin in snow , good luck hope this helps,

You have an internal transmission problem which could consist of a wiring harness or shift solenoids.

If the explanation point is inside of what looks like a tire. Tire Pressure Monitor System. Inflate your tires to the correct pressure (probably 32psi) Or could be an issue with you TPMS

2007 honda odyseey VSA modulator does it impact power steering? had the recall repair completed today drove 30miles lost all power steering fluid vehicle has never leaked any fluid. 57,000 miles work...

VSA is Vehicle Stability Assist and is related to ABS braking.
The power steering issue could just be a series of unfortunate events but it does sound suspicious. I'd try to figure out what caused the fluid to leak and where the leak is in relation to the VSA that was replaced before I took it back to the dealer.
i.e. If the VSA is on the other side of the engine compartment, it's probably not the dealer's fault. If they are right next to each other, something might have happened.

2004 honda accord

It's for the 'vehicle stability assist' system.(aka electronic stability control) This lights up if you have turned the vsa system off. If it flashes, it means the system is on and operating to help control the stability of your car (making adjustments in engine and braking). If it comes on w/ VSA indicator light at the same time, it indicates you have a problem w/ the system. Sorry u didn't get the manual, it's amazing how many people throw them out! countrycurt0
