SOURCE: 2001 honda odyssey...what does green

that green key is the immobilizer system indicator. It comes on for a few seconds when you turn the key to ON. It will then go off if you have inserted a properly coded key. If the key isn't coded properly, the green key indicator will flash and the engine won't start. The indicator also blinks several times when you turn the key from ON to Acc or Lock. This is normal. SOURCE: 2004 honda acoord keys locked out key6 light

The green key light on the dash is your immobilizer system. If it flashes at you while you are cranking (no start). This means the key that you are using is not programmed to the immobi control unit. Try using another key. if all other keys are lost you'll have to get it down to you local honda dealer. it takes a special honda scan tool to program these keys to the control unit. If you don't want to spend money on a tow truck, ask you dealer about the Brake Code. This is a code specific to each vehicle. If your keys are lost/stolen you can input this Brake Code into the control unit by using your e-brake (special procedure). this will give you 10 free starts to get it to your dealer. (limp-in mode).

2006 honda accord inertia switch location

All sorts of answers here, bad battery / immobiliser / keys need programming / caused by towing.

This;
The flashing green key is your immobilizer indicator. My recommendation (I am a certified honda tech) is take it to your local acura dealer and have them do a hard reset of the immobilizer and reprogram your keys.

It could also be a bad immobilizer itself. If it is a bad immobilizer, the tech will be able to tell through the diagnostic system used to program keys.

The Green Key light on my 2001 Honda Civic does not come on at all what could be the problem

If the immobilizer (green key) light does not show when it should then it could be the bulb, the immobilizer unit by the key, or the computer. I have encountered this issue on a couple of this model civic and had to replace the immobilizer unit. Unfortunately this requires reprograming by a shop with the capability which is often the dealership. If I can assist further, reach me at https://www.6ya.com/thericepatch

How to reset immobilizer on 2001 volvo s60

Hi. Here are directions to reset your immobilizer. The ignition switch has for positions. You will be using two (Accessory and Run). NOTE: Do not start the engine during the reset procedure.

NOTE: Look at your gauge cluster and identify the trip display and reset button.

(1) Turn the ignition switch to the accessory position.
(2) Set the trip reading to TRIP 1 (T1) and push and hold the trip reset button.
(3) While holding the reset button, rotate the key to the RUN position.
(4)Hold the reset button until you see the triangle in the dash flash yellow. Once this starts flashing remove your finger from the reset button. Shut the car off, verify light is out. repeat once if necessary.

A green key shaped light is flashing on the dashboard. What does it mean?

The green key flashing means that the key you are use is not registered to the car. If you just cut a new key for your car(it has to be a honda key, not a walmat key) your honda dealer will have to program it to your car. If it's a old key, maybe the chip in the key might be bad, time for a new key. good luck.
