07 camry fuel problems - 2007 Toyota Camry

What engine - 2.4 or 3.5 L ? It's probably the EFI relay , but without testing this is just a guess . To find a problem like this you need to view electrical distribuition diagrams an test B+ an ground circuits . You need wiring diagrams for the ignition & fuel systems an the main power an grounds for the ECU - engine computer . Also check pin # 16 at the DLC for B+ voltage . this is power supply for the scanner .

The fuel pump is suppose to be buried in the middle of all the float assembly. You will need to pull it all out of the tank. You will need to disassemble the float mechanism to remove the metal cylinder in the middle which is your fuel pump. Here's a pic of what you are looking for. In some models it is located about a foot further back in the tank. According to the MFG these have been like this since 1990. Look for the item in the attached photo and you have found your fuel pump. To check the fuse and relay for this fuel pump. Try checking the fuse/relay box under the hood of this vehicle. Look at the UNDERSIDE of the relay box COVER. Toyota calls this relay a "C/OPN" relay

is this a 4cyl or V6...how many miles??sounds like the transmission isn't shifting to lower gears....is there any warning lights lit on your dash??

I think that special mechanic can do this.
