take it to a GM dealer and see if the electronic key reader needs to be replaced

it is the pontimeter in the fuel sender you can buy it seperate from the whole assembly and they had alot of problems with them please rate -jeff

this is a mechanical fuel pump that works off cam lobe, check fuel line from pump all the way to tank, notice wet or rusted line, split rubber lines that connect metal lines to pump and top of tank. disconnect fuel line at pump (suction) side. put a rubber hose on the suction side and clamp, install other end in a clear container with gasoline in it. attemp to start vehicle if it pumps fuel and starts then your problem is the line from the tank to the pump, if it doesn't pump it is the diaphram in the pump. If you suspect the pump and remove it inspect what drives it as well at this time. I believe it is pump or the supply line

Go back to basics and do a complete fuel system and compression test, if it hasn't had a full tune-up in a while you may consider that also.

make sure relay is grounded and check the relay for the air conditioning I know it seems weird but they are hooked up together in the wiring diagram
