Do me a favor and look under your hood and see if there is the diagram as a sticker on the underside of your hood.

This is where the diagram is 99% of the time located.

Hi,

It is most likely covered with a rubber boot. It's a connector behind the pulley. You will have to remove the belt. You might even be able to get an exact location or diagram at an auto parts store. I hope this helps you.

Im going to have to change my serpentine belt on a 96 buick park avenue. 3800 non supercharged. Looked at it yesterday and it looks like I have to unbolt motor mount to get the belt off? Is there an easier...

yes.that is the only way.You have to unbolt the motor mount. To replace the serpentine belt on a V6 3800 series non-supercharged motor, you must jack up the motor and remove a motor mount. Before going any further make sure that the factory belt diagram sticker is still somewhere under the hood; if not, make a detailed diagram of the path of the belt. You must then use a breaker bar with a socket (I believe 13/64") and pull it toward the front of the car to release the belt tensioner. Put the new belt on, tighten it, put the mount back on, and lower the jack. Thanks. keep updated for any more query.you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

If you have the 3800 Series II or Series III engine, this should help you out.

If you dont have the supercharger, just disregard the belt routing with the S/C on it.
