Hi there,
We recently purchased one of the above Homemaker fridges off the floor from K-Mart. Unfortunaltely a manual/instruction could not be located for it. We have plugged the fridge on and attempted to set the temperature to -7 degrees C (Champagne) but it seems to be reverting back to 18 degrees C or whatever the current room temperature is. Can anyone help us set the fridge to the correct temperature please? Room temp. wine/champagne NOT appealing!
Cheers,
Sam
I Have this fridge as well , it stopped working the same as yours. Have had it looked at and been told it is the control board, but there is a problem K Mart do not have spares used to just replace the whole thing, but it has now been deleted from there stock. I did understand that parts had to be available for 7 years after manufacture had stopped.
Hello there,
I am about to buy the same fridge from K-mart.....expecting it delivered by this weekend. I will take a test and see if I can help you set your temperature right. hopefully I may have a manual thrown in with it.
Are you sure you want frozen champagne? Or do you mean 7 degree C (not minus 7).
Without knowing the amount of space you have to put the
cooler, it is difficult to find you one that will fit. What I did though was find a great site with
a few brands of slim wine coolers. Look
through and maybe they will have something for you.

I bought the same Wine Cooler and have exactly the same problem.
Does anyone know if their is a solution for this? Are we missing something or do we have a faulty cooler.
My cooler is basically sitting on room temperature. The temperature gauge goes up and down with the temp of the room even though I have set it to 7 degrees celcius (the champagne setting).
Please help.
Same problem here. Bought it just before I moved back to Sweden and now its not working. Not really any chance of replacing it so I would like to be able to fix it. Could it be something with the thermostat?
