The evaporator fan should be pulling air from the freezer over the evaporator and directing the air down into the frig and circulating through out the freezer.
Hope this helps.

The fan on my GT345 chest freezer runs constantly. Is this correct ?

Depends are you referring to the condenser fan or the evaporation fan? If it's the condenser fan you may have an issue with debris in the condenser coil not letting enough air flow to cool down so it will stay on to keep from burning up compressor. If it's inside the evaporator coil then it may be low on refrigerant possibly freezing up the evap coil making it run then kick into defrost run kick into defrost etc... hope this helps

Daewoo FRN-U20IA top of freezer compartment won't freeze

It was the fan at the top of the freezer that had stopped working after 3 years, therefore the freezing air wasn't getting to the top of the freezer. From the inside, unscrew light unit and unclip, pop out two circular discs at top and unscrew one screw. Unscrew 2 more screws and prise the back panel off. (Arrows mark the clips). Pull off fan, take out motor, replace (keeping rubber bits) and push back fan with a bit of nail varnish on spindle. Put everything back together. Turn on, depress door light switch and after 30 seconds fan should rotate. You can buy a fan on eBay or from www.4daewoo.co.uk for about 40 pounds.

Beverage Air. Model: CFG24-1. The evaporator fan motor does not turn while unit is operating. The entire condensing unit is working, except the evaporator fan motor. When I removed the evaporator fan motor...

The fan has a limit control wired in series that shuts the fan down until the coil temperature reaches 25*F. this prevents the fan from blowing warm around after defrost.
There is also a switch which is placed for the door to close. Either one may be defective.
Worst case is the freezer is not pulling down temperature wise.

Side of freezer seems warm

Hi!!

Don't worry about the line, it is supposed to be the way it is. If you are talking about the condenser coil, located on the back bottom part of the unit, with a small fan in front of it, yes, it is supposed to be hot.

The condenser job is to disipate the heat absorbed by the evaporator (the coil inside the freezer). Make sure the condenser is clean and condenser fan is working, also, make sure there is air circulating thru the back of the unit to help cooling the condenser.

The noises you hear, are probably the defrost coil melting the ice on the evaporator, this function is on a timer and happens 3 or 4 times a day.

Good Luck!!

The 2 fans are not working but the freezer coils are freezing up won;t go below 20 degrees

the freezing is and temp are caused by the fans not working. One fan pulls warm air out of the box and across the evaporator coil, which in your case is frozen, and the other fan is used to pull air over the condensing coil which rejects the heat pulled out of the box. check the wiring diagram for a fan relay first, which can easily be changed out, or by some crazy chance, both fans quite working at the same time

I have a mr.freeze sa-12863 that is leaking water under the machine.help

If the water is actually coming from under the ice maker, I can't help you.
However, I just discovered water leaking from around the top of the lid on mine. I took the lid off [by first removing both side panels and then the screws for the top] and discovered that there is a metal plate under the water spout that causes water to splash up around the lid. In mine, this led to water running out aall the way around the lid, down the sides, and all over the counter. You can't remove the spout without messing up the water level sensor, but I bent the plate a bit flatter and no longer have splashing water everywhere.
