SOURCE: Just purchased mossberg 935 used gun from cabelas
I own a 935 and it is a tank..... i spend atleast 3 days a week in the field during duck and goose hunt. i love it! I dont shoot 2 3/4 loads through it because it is never wise to do other than manufacturer specifications. And to be honest I think the outfitter at cabelas should lose his job for telling you to do so. I slapped a kicks high flyer choke on mine and many a bird have met their fate at the end of my barrel...

Can be a burr in your tube that the spring is strong enough to push the other shells past....but really, you're probably looking at a new mag tube spring is all. You can test it by removing the mag tube spring and stretching it a few inches and then replacing it. If it works, cool! But that fix is a temp one. Spend the $3 and get a new Wolff spring at any gun store. If it doesn't work, run your finger inside the mag tube mouth til you feel it scratch your finger. Sand paper wrapped around a dowel....
Let me know if you need anything else!
SOURCE: mossberg 500,12 ga. shells will not feed
This will sound sort of stoopid but trust me, more folks do it than you would believe. First thing....push the shell all the way up into the mag tube til your thumb is up the first knuckle. If you only push the shell til you hear the first click, you're only pushing it past the first stop. With it one stop in, a pump will drop it on the floor every time. Simple way to prove that, load three shells into the tube but only load the last one til you hear the one click. Pump it. First hits the floor, rest load perfectly. See what I mean? On ALL pump shotguns, you have to hit both stops so push the shells in up to your first thumb knuckle.

You don't. You send it back to Mossberg and let them do it. Seriously! They'll do it cheaply, probably free.
