I purchased a Mossberg 935 shotgun. I went to put

Sounds like your screws are too long. Put the screws in w/o the base and see if there is a difference between the rear and front screw hole depth. (I think I am understanding your description, I don't have a picture. Picatinny type rail ? ) Grind/cut/buy screws the right length. Put some purple locktite on the threads when you are ready to bolt it down for the final time.

How to load a mossberg model 283tb

WRONG!!! A 283TB doesn't have tube magazine, it has a box magazine that's loaded through the breach. Put on the safety, load a shell fully into the barrel. Then press the second shell into the magazine-back end first. Then press the second shell down in the magazine with the third shell, back side first again. Then press both shells in the magazine down until the bolt can be slipped back forward and close the breach.

How do i install a utg shotgun top rail #mb500t on

For any top mounted rail on any gun, you'll need the gun to have or be drilled for the proper screws. Your Mossy, if it's already drilled, will have four tiny little screws plugging four tiny little holes on the topo fthe receiver. Remove those, put the rail in place, and replace the screws with the ones included in the rail kit. If your gun IS NOT drilled, you can have it drilled....which will cost more than the rail kit....or you can skip that rail and go for a clamshell or side mount rail instead. Both of those use the ejector screw and the trigger retainer pin to attach them.

Threaded muzzle brake removal

Easiest way, insert an appropriately sized drill bit, the round end, not the cutting end, into a hole in the brake and use that to unscrew it. Look at the threads inside the thread protector to see which way it's threaded, though. Some guns are threaded left, some are threaded right. Mossberg, I have no doubt it's a common right hand but you never know. Use a drill bit that fits the hole snug but not tight....and do NOT use a loose one! It'll scratch the brake.

Dont know how to set the coke

Read the barrel on the top, left side, back near the receiver. It'll tell you the gauge, the chamber length, the choke type etc. if it says "fixed choke", it's forged into the barrel and can't be changed. If it's a "poly choke", older gun, it'll have grip knurlings on the barrel muzzle that you twist. If it's a "win choke" or "accu-choke", it has a removeable choke tube in the muzzle of the barrel. There will be two notches that fit a choke tool. Seriously, though, just fire the gun as it was when you bought it and don't even bother with the choke until you get some experience and know what you want. This is a bit older question so there's no doubt in my mind you already answered your own question and are an expert with the gun. This answer is more aimed at the folks who will search on the same topic and might see this. Great gun, btw....congrats!

How do you remove the muzzle brake

Don't! That barrel's actually a highly desireable item....keep it intact! If you want to go without the muzzle brake, just switch the barrel. Hit Ebay or your next gun show. You can get barrels for the $50-75 all the time of the day.

Where can i find a magazine loading chamber for a mossberg 835 12 ga. pump? and how much?

I'm sorry but I don't quite know what you mean, sir. Can you explain a bit? The 835 is a tube mag pump action. You load it by slipping a shell into that open area on the bottom of the gun, slip the shell forward into the tube until it's thumb knuckle into the tube. That gets it past both shell stops.

Mossberg 817 magazine

Not much can go wrong. Have you checked your extractor? If it's intact and not broken, try moving it with your thumbnail. Is it loose? That's a spring problem. If it's tight and intact, WITH THE BOLT OUT, try slipping a small diam wooden dowel down the barrel to see how hard it is to push a spent shell out. If it's tight, you've got a burr in the chamber or dirt/varnish buildup. Examine the shell for scratches. If the shell's good and no scratches, clean the chamber with a brass brush mounted in a drill.
