Original upside down? Empty ink cartridge?

Make sure you are connected to the internet on your DS. If should have an indicator at the top of the screen (it looks like an antenna), it shows your signal strength. If you have no signal or are not connected to your wifi, you will not be able to get to the eshop.

I know some of the older DS units can not connect to routers with WPA encryption.

Make sure your DS has the latest updates. Sometimes nintendo changes things and if you do not have the latest update you can not connect.

At times the carriage moves well in one direction , but not the other. you may need to clean the same with Iso propyle alcohol , and then some very thin oil.

The error could be indicating that there's a communication failure between your cartridge and the printer. Please follow the steps below to fix the problem:

1. Make sure the printer is on.

2. Open the printer cover. The print cartridge carrier moves and stops at the loading position, unless the All-in-One is busy.

Note: If the carrier does not automatically move to the center, turn off the printer/unplug the printer from the power source and then slide the carrier to the center.

3. Remove both cartridges from the carrier.

4. Close the printer cover.

5. Re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.

6. When the printer turns on, reinsert one cartridge first.

7. Close the printer cover and check for any errors.

8. If no error appears, reinsert the other cartridge. Close the printer cover.

9. Replace whichever cartridge is causing the error to appear with a new cartridge.

You probably have to contact them directly to get your exact circuit board.

Unfortunately, this will be a tedious task but well worth it in the long run. You have torn off paper and chunks in there. Take a paper clip and try to pull out those pieces. You have 2-3 places you can access the paper. Open the door to it and look for it with maybe a flashllight. Turn off your printer first so it won't activate. This may take 30 minutes or so. Most of where you will find the paper is where it is pulled into the machine at the rubber wheels. Let me know how this works for you.

I'm not even pulling up any info on that error msg.

Where are you reading the error msg from, within Windows? Or from the printer itself?
