Unplug it and flip it over and see if there is something jammed if not, then when its still upside down, and unplugged find something flat and stiff about the width of the blade of the stapler. slide it up and make sure the driver blade is returning. if it doesn't go up the staples cannot feed and while it will fire it wont be on top of the staple when it fires.

SOURCE: AS 300 electric stapler--pulled out

What has most likely happened is part of a staple is stuck in the front portion of the stapler where it forms the staple and presses it into the stapler.
You would most likely have to remove the stapler, and remove the binding staple from the stapler head.

SOURCE: LOAD IT

pull out the spring at the end of the gun. turn the staple gun upside down. Lay the staples in the track pointed side up, push in the spring slide so that it locks. You are ready to staple.

SOURCE: duofast stapler shoots a staple as soon as i plug in the air

I have rebuilt many older Duofast staplers and have seen the problem that you describe. Duofast staplers have twice as many orings as other brands of nailers. Some people say that the nailers are over-engineered. I say that they were built to last a lifetime and need extra care when working on them. Duofast relies on various springs to reset functions or operations. For example there is a spring within the trigger valve that you do not see when you are rebuilding that may be weak and cant overcome the friction of the new orings. That spring resets the trigger after firing. If you replaced all the orings but did not replace any of the springs within the gun, it will take a while for the gun to get back to normal. I use new springs and lube all the parts with silicone lube instead of oil. Silicone lube is sold at Lowes in the plumbing department. It is used to lube orings in faucets. Instead of taking the gun apart, try using a little extra nailer oil in the gun and cycle the gun with-out nails dozens of times to work-in the new orings. If the problem does not go away, take a look at a breakdown and try streaching all the springs just a bit, or make sure that all the springs are in place. Also make sure that the head gasket is in good shape or the oring that seals the headvalve port to the body. Good Luck with your repair and email if you have other questions.

Black & Decker 9700 electric stapler clicks but won't shoot staples?

Remove the magazine and staples. Look down at the very end and look for a damaged bent staple. You can also check that the hammer is firing.

The staples won't go fully into the Wood

My T50 would fire ONE 1/4" staple correctly and then jam, eating 3 or 4 and after digging those out do it all again. This was one staple eating machine!!.. I disassembled the thing, making some mechanical adjustments which allow only enough room for smooth feeding of ONE staple at a time and now it NEVER misfires or jams. These adjustments will take careful thought and filing of the end of the staple tray nearest the firing pin, along with slight bending of the firing pin to lay flat again the outside head cover. I also filed the outside "tips" of the firing pin to be absolutely flat where it contacts the staple. DO NOT shorten the firing pin if possible. Now I can get even 9/16" staples to go all the way in. :)

New electric arrow stapler et501. Will shoot a staple but when you reposition to shoot a second wont always fire off. Sometimes can shoot 2 or 3 in a row and then then will not shoot. gun does not...

Check the instructions for cleaning and lubrication tips. Sounds like you have a buildup of the adhesive that holds staples in "sticks," and it's keeping the staple stick from moving forward into the firing position.

Every time I load my easy shot 5650 stapler they fall out the end they are supposed to shoot out...why is that ??

The way you load this staple gun is: (1) turn it upside down (2) press the unlock tabs on the rear end of the loading slide trey and pull it back (3) droup a row of staples into the slot w with the pointed end facing up, while keeping the gun upside down, push the spring loaded slide tray forward until the locking tabe engauge. (4) turn the gun rightside up (away from you), and fire it. the stape should come out normally, the rest should not fall out.

Firing Blanks

No it is not operator error. This is the worst stapler made. I had one, it did the same thing, I brought it back and bought an arrow stapler, works great.

Has staples loaded but does not shoot staple. I pulled out the follower and cannot tell if there is a jam, but looking at the "output" of the stapler seems to have a staple...

I think you just answered your own question. I have had one single staple stuck at the "output" where the staple shoot out and it drove me insane for a few until I slowed my roll, took a deep breath and said, I have got to be smarter than a piece of metal here, and took a calm slow looksy. Sure enough, it was one loan staple causing a backup of the rest. I have also had issues with overloading staples which eventually makes the spring pushup rod become less forceful as it pushes the staples up for firing. Not an issue until you get towards the last dozen staples or so, which can also lead to the last staple not quite getting that millimeter push ahead, to shoot out correctly. These staple guns are like babies. Have to treat them nice and pamper them and heaven forbid you ever drop that stapler cause if dropped more than likely it will never quite be the same again. When pressing the trigger to fire a staple, all I get is an air leak from the area of the trigger.

They all leak a little on firing. Is it a big blast of air or just a hiss? All guns have a 'safety' device that keeps them from firing unless you follow a set pattern. You must push the gun down where you intend to put the staple which releases the safety before you pulll the trigger. You must then release the trigger move the stapler off the piece push it back down again before you can fire another staple. You can get (free) frrom the manufacture a rapid fire shoe and trigger that allows you to hold down the trigger and bounce the stapler along your work shooting merrily away.
