Does anyone need to know the quickest way to fix your tv or program it? If you do & dont want to keep coming back here time & time again cuz nothing is working. Just do what I did & look up the customer service number to the make of your tv & call them. That is literally all ya gotta do! I honestly wish I would have done that from the start. Instead of spendin 3 days getting on here & asking questions & trying what everyone else says & following links that didnt work. Cuz when I finally did call my tv's provider LG I got my tv fixed in less than 20 mins...

There are solutions for stuck "and not dead pixels" Here are a couple idea's to try and please do not rate me bad if don't work!! It's possible that the motherboard or the controller board for the screen is defective. At this point, I would use the warranty from Vizio. It should be no doubt that it covered. Here's the info you will need from the Vizio web site.

That white line (usually jagged) is actuallly part of the transmitted picture. However, you are not intended to see it because it is located in what is known as the 5% overscan area. Your TVs today are more than just cable ready... they are a versital, technology filled multimedia display. You can see that line because the screen size or wide mode you are using is intended for 1080p/24 signals. You have 0% overscan with this screen size setting. This allows you to see ALL of the picture, including portions of the picture the broadcaster did not intend for you to see. You can change your screen size using the Wide feature in the Setup menu. See pg.62 of your user manual for details and descriptions of the various wide modes.

Go into menu, sound set-up, and switch SRS to off. It's a vizio thing they came up with to act like "Smart Sound" where commercials won't be louder. It is total BS and does not work, it makes your normal sound fluctuate. Worked on all 3 of my Vizios. Hope it helps you.

Go into tv menu goto SETUP go down to Ch.setup enter to pick AIR not CABLE and press enter for scanning for regular Free AIR tv broadcasting channels.
