SOURCE: Hi, Honeywell (HZ-341BL) Ceramic Heater stopped

when most ceramic room heaters stop working, the blower is clogged with lint and dust from floor use . get an air compressor, or a can of air. take unit outside using a small head philips driver remove screws while laying on an old sheet .disassemble cover carefully and blow dust away from you and clean blade without bending with a toothbrush in vinegar water not gettting any liquid on the electrical parts. reassemble. thanks karl

Honeywell HZ 617 has broken on/off control knob. How much and how easy to repair?

The cost and ease of repairing a broken on/off control knob on a Honeywell HZ 617 heater will depend on the extent of the damage and your location.
In terms of repair, if the control knob is simply loose or detached from the heater, it may be possible to reattach it or tighten it back into place. However, if the knob is broken or damaged beyond repair, it may need to be replaced.
You can contact Honeywell customer service or a local repair technician for assistance with replacing the control knob. They will be able to provide you with an estimate for the cost of the repair and any necessary parts. In some cases, it may be more cost-effective to purchase a new heater rather than repair the existing one, especially if the heater is old or has other issues.

Where is the fuse on a honeywell quiteset hy-108

KAZ Inc. has franchised the use of Honeywell's company name to manufacture/market this KAZ OEM HY-108 Tower Fan. The small 2.5A fuse you are looking for is located inside the 2-Prong Electrical Outlet Plug. This tiny 2.5A Fuse can be hard to find as a replacement in retail Hardware Stores, but see if you have an old LONG string of indoor/outdoor Christmas Lights... some of these Christmas Lights Strings may have the correct 2.5A Fuse you need. IMHO, it's strange that KAZ Inc. did not put instructions in the Honeywell HY-108 Owner's Manual where the Fuse is located!

The switch has burnt up - it is manufactured by Tower Mfg. Co. It is a 6A - 120VAAA switch. Do you have or can you tell me where to go to get a replacement switch. I contacted Tower Mfg. and they said they...

Oster, the same maker of home appliances also make dog dryers. They have this same switch(I believe). It is about $5 + shipping and 4 terminal,5 position switch. Part # was 209472 is now 055304-005-000

Where will I find replacement wheels for this heater?

Contact them here:

Kaz, Incorporated • Consumer Relations Department

250 Turnpike Road, Southborough, MA 01772
Toll Free: 1-800-477-0457 • E-mail: [email protected]

And see if they even offer replacement parts for the Kaz - Honeywell Model HZ-690.

I do not know of any other source except a trial and error CASTER hunt at the local LOWES, MENARDS, or HOME DEPOT

Need users manual for a Kaz oil heater

I dug up my user's manual just the another night to address a problem I had. If you contact me and still need a copy of it I will scan it and email it to you. It is a good reference on how to run the heater but doesn't say much about troubleshooting problems. To learn about that you have to email Honeywell, which I did, and haven't received a response yet.
