How do i get my dog from being so afraid of everything.descensitized him to curtins now won't come back into room

My dog usually lays by me when i watch TV. One day he kept looking up to the ceiling and is afraid of the sound of the curtain. I held him and stood on the couch while opening and closing the drapes and he now refuses to go back into the same room

SOURCE: freezer door not sealing

Probably a defective defrost timer. Try to find the timer. It is usually underneat in the back. When you find it turn the knob slowly click by click. (You may need a screwdriver or knife) turn just until the compressor stops. Let it stay in defrost for about 1/2 hour. turn the knob until the compressor starts let it cool down several hours. Then do it again. If this solves the problem replace the timer. While you are waiting to do this Defrost it at least twice a day by turning the knob.

SOURCE: My DLP TV made a loud popping sound then went off

first. unplug the set for 5 minutes and see if it will reboot. if it does not the you have 2 problems, the chassis is also bad. next open the lamp door cover, it is behind the speaker grill, and behind the lamp door.
take out the lamp and see if it has broken on the inside if it has it needs to be replaced. mits will send you one i believe it is about 100.00 the number is 915P020010. if the lamp looks ok then the color wheel has probably fallen apart.if this is the case the light engine need to be repaired. check out www.tv-techs.com

SOURCE: black decker drill keyless chuck won.t open !

hold the back of the chuck with channel locks or a vice and use the same channel locks on the front and open the chuck manually it should work and you can get to the screw to replace it or the hand chuck. this can be a little frustrating but hang in there and you'll be a pro shortly.

I have a juki 560 - wheel is moving manually, but gets hard to move at one point and then goes fine after that. The footfeed is not moving the material through. what could be the problem?

  • Remove the foot and plate. Take your thread out of the needle and see if you can run the machine and it turns freely, if so:
  • It sounds like you might have your feed dogs in crooked or your plate may be bent. Have you taken them out lately? Or bought a new plate that might not be the right one to match with the feed dogs that are in your machine?
  • Take your plate off and examine it to make sure it is flat and that the metal between the feed dogs aren't bent. If they are bent, straighten them with your screw driver. If the plate isn't flat, lay it on a flat surface that you won't hurt (cutting board, workbench, garage floor :) ) and use a hammer to beat it flat (usually a couple hits).
  • Lay the plate in place without putting the screws back in and wind the hand wheel forward and see if your machine is still hanging up. If not, put the screws back in the plate, put your foot back on and see if it works!

Do you need to wash fabric before laying it on the pattern?

Depends on the fabric...cotton shrinks quite a bit and some fabrics should not be washed, like some wools. And make sure you lay the pattern on top of the fabric...you have to be able to see the pattern to cut it.

Feed dogs won't move

No info on the sewing machine make or model. It sounds like something is binding up, is bent, or is tangled in the machine. Look around the front and back of the sewing area for a switch to lower the feed dogs.

Good luck

My feed dods have droped down how can we ajust them to raise them.

Usually when you slide the knob to drop the feed dogs they drop immediately. But when you switch the knob back to raise the feed dogs, they won't come up until you rotate the handwheel one revolution in the forward direction.

I recently bought a leica fIII r-d.the curtin is sticky @ slow setings.can i oil this my self or should i seek qualified help? Also the speed dial doesnot seat all the way down @ 1000.HELP

Hi,
I would not try to fix the curtin your self . You need to send the camera to a qualified camera repairman and have him fix your curtin and calibrate the speed on your . If you do decide to let a camera repairman look at the camera he can clean it too.

Lost instructions to Zizzle Lucky the incredible wonder pup

I found this on a review of the dog:
Playing with Lucky is pretty simple but does require some learning. Lucky is programmed to respond to 15 different commands but the commands must be issued the same way each time. First, you say Lucky's name to engage him. Once you say "Lucky" (or whatever name you give him) he will then respond to you with 2 barks. After he goes ruff-ruff, then you can tell him what to do. The commands are as follows:

Speak to Me - he will sit or stand & bark
Come Here - he will run forward and back
Pounce - he will crouch and pounce excitedly
Lay down - he will lay down on his tummy
Sit - he sits
Want a Treat? - he stands and barks (begs)
On your head - He does a headstand
Go to sleep - lays down, snores and enters sleep mode
Sing a song - he'll bark one of 2 songs
Good Dog - acts excited by shuffling his feet
Bad Dog - he crouches down
Put 'em up - he'll stand up on his hind legs. Then when you say "bang bang" he plays falls down and plays dead.
Tug of War - he opens his mouth for you to put in his leash, he closes his mouth and tugs a little

Lucky also comes with a "sleep" mode and automatically shuts off after not being played with for 3 minutes.

Playing with Lucky is pretty simple, you command and Lucky performs. Well, Lucky performs most of the time. You need to be sure that he has your attention (barking twice) first before issuing the command. A few of the tricks are a bit more complicated - Put 'em up & Tug of War but the rest are very straight forward. I do notice that both my husband and I had the tendency to want to 'yell' or raise our voices when commanding Lucky - but that isn't necessary.
