Fisher and Paykel washing machine Aquasmart during cleaning cycle alarm indicating fault code 12 - drum full of water

If the drum is full of water your drain pump is not functioning correctly. Could be a bad pump but more likely it is a clogged drain hose (hose between tub and drain pump) or filter basket on the pump if it has one.

Washing still wet after washing machine cycle. After full cycle the wahing in the machine was still soaking wet

Either the pump is not emptying the machine quickly enough, or the drum is not spinning. This could also be because there is too much water left in the machine. Check that the drain hose is not blocked and that water is draining/pumping out of the machine. A partial blockage will extend the drain period and the machine may not have time to empty the drum...Good luck......Nomess

WATER WILL NOT DRAIN OUT OF THE BARREL DURING SPIN

Hi,
I'm not sure of your model, but most are the same design. The water is pumped in, but centrifugal force through the spin should force it out. If I am understanding you correctly in that your drum is spinning (I assume slowly if full of water). It is likely you have a clog in your drain hose area. If the drum is not really spinning, check for a "click" when you open, then close the lid. A switch could keep the drum from spinning.
I hope this helps... Good luck!

I have a GE WSM2700D stackable washer. The machine fills up with water and spins but does not drain the water. Could it be the pump?

More than likely, it's pulled a small article of clothing over the rim of the inner perforated tub and into the outer drum. There's a drain hose from this drum to the pump.
The blockage could be located at the mouth of the drain hole on the outer drum.
You'll need to remove the front cover for access. Here is an interactive diagram of a typical GE Washer.
If you can remove the front, you can check the location of your blockage.
If it's not blocage, it could be the pump belt is loose or fallen off its pulley.

My bet it's a blockage.
Use a piece of coathanger wire with a small hook bent on the end and fish between the two drums... you may need to tip the top panel out of the way. Also squeeze the drain hose and feel for blockage, and check the interior of the pump... some pumps are opaque and you can see inside without removing the hose.... you may need to remove the hose to look inside, but beware, if the drum is full of water, this can be a messy job due to gravity and a drum full of soapy water.
You can pinch the hose closed with pliers while you take the hose loose from the pump, but be prepared for leakage...
If the blockage is in the pump, you can sometimes reach in with the hooked coathanger wire or a pair of needle nose pliers...

If you stop the machine during its spin, and then restart, does the water drain a bit? if so the blockage is in the drum (the start-stop will allow the blockage to float away from the drain until it gets relodged... ).
Let me know what you find out...

Drum is full of water

There should be no water left in the drum once the wash is completely done. This is probably a drain problem. Doing the following checks might help->
Inspect the drain hose for kinks
Inspect the water pump
Inspect the drain pipe and hose for blockages.

Please do rate my solution if it works out. Also do post further comments if any help needed.Good luck with the machine.

Water not draing away and machine is not spinning

Empty your machine manually by lowering the drain hose into a bowl or bucket. Then remove the kick plate and check the filter for blockages. Before replacing try the machine on drain to see if the pump is running, if problem persists there may be a blockage in the pipe from the drum to the pump.
